We visited this place to see how olive oil was made in the old days and to sample some of their wines. This was part of our tour of the Douro River Valley with Cooltours Oporto. Our hostess did a very nice job of touring us through the old olive pressing operation - I found this to be very educational and I learned a few things about olive oil. Later we had a chance to sample the oils on their beautiful terrace overlooking the river below. We also tasted some of their wines which were also very good. I went on a tour here and learned about how they used to make olive oil back pre-2001. It's a short, but interesting introduction. After the tour, we were able to try some of their olive oil, wines, and honey that they sell in partnership with a family friend. The olive oil, which is now made off site, was fantastic. The wine was good too! During the tasting portion, you can have your drinks on their terrace with a stunning view of the Douro Valley. read more

Very good winery! Excellent tour. Tried the white, rose and red - all quite delicious! They served bread and their house made olive oil, along with almonds and honey. We couldn't leave without buying a bottle (or two)! read more

Wine was OK, but very sweet. Views are beautiful though. Here as part of a tour of the valley. They also make wine and have honey with their label. Wouldn't come back for the wine, but would just for the view. read more
