I'm sure if I'd said it was urgent they'd have tried to come sooner. They came out a week or so after I called to check things out and give me a quote. That guy, Matt, and the later handyman were friendly and efficient. Then another few weeks till they came out. I got the disposal and they installed it, plus added a plug under the sink and fixed the wall switch. Took an hour or so. This is the only handyman our dogs haven't barked at when they got here, and never did. He said he has dogs, but sometimes ours go nuts no matter what, on just hearing or smelling a stranger. The roof took maybe half an hour. Again, professional and efficient. Prices seem a little high to me, but it's been awhile since I hired anyone so this may be the new normal. And I used to be able to do some of this stuff but can't now, so, I have to pay someone sometimes. Worth it to have it taken care of.

We checked out many builders and their credit they had improved in a few areas over the years. We made sure we asked if they had enough contractors, if labor was an problem how do you fix it. Their response was " we just don't have those issue" Yes they do we are months late because of that and the AC contractor. They just don't care what your concerns are. They won't make any attempt to " catch up" when they are behind. They don't care if you are happy or not. Save yourself time, money and head aches and build with someone else.
