She, her husband, & daughter arrived as scheduled on the day of packing. They were efficient & careful in packing my possessions. The day of the move their moving crew arrived right on time as well. They were friendly, professional, highly attentive, to details, efficient, as they loaded my boxes and furniture & asked questions regarding location of furniture once they arrived at my new place. Everyone of this crew had a great attitude, very courteous, considerate. I didn't get to travel as soon as the moving crew, so family met them at my new place. When I did arrive my furniture was placed, ice maker to refrigerator connected, my beds assembled in the bedrooms. What a relief after such a long day! I highly recommend Lone Star Moving, the entire staff & the way in which they managed the entire process. This was the worst packing and moving company I have ever used. They left me high and dry they…read moreworked for about an hour and a half took breaks they were paid for three hours. They broke my headboard completely into ear replaceable and irreparable and they broke my dryer. they didn't pay for it. Before coming to me we're late almost 2 hours the reason was because they had another move that morning and the young man which was 13 years old who was helping him said that they didn't finish him because they had too much work too much heavy work and they just left him so they did him pretty much the same way they did me they left him high and dry to so this company is not a good company I got my refund back but it was not enough to pay for the damage they did to my furniture they would not answer phone calls they didn't care they are not trustworthy and they're not loyal to their work. I can't stress enough that this is a doodoo company and they do do do work. They didn't even load my truck halfway or my furniture from my home halfway and they just left without notice so do yourself a favor get you another company cuz this one is terrible.

Remove all insulation from under the trailer meant push some out of the way. Once they finish the job you won't be able to get a hold of them to complete their touchup work that was promised in the bid. It's been a month of calls everyday now.

But after I made that clear, Henrietta wrote up a contract for me to use. PROS: * The guys were VERY professional and courteous. * They padded and shrink wrapped EVERYTHING. Our items were well taken care of * There was only one piece of damage and they pointed it out on the unload. A wooden leg that was already soggy had gotten worse in the hot trailer. * They stuck to their commitments with me! Timeline AND price. * They moved me from TX to OH with 1 weeks notice and was $1,000 dollars cheaper than the big moving companies * The move was dedicated. We didn't share trailer space with anyone else. CONSIDERATIONS: They not have as much presence and professionalism in terms of marketing, but give them a chance!! There was damage to several of our furniture pieces, items broken that we were…read morenot told about and discovered broken glass they swept out onto our driveway and arrived with a truck that was not large enough, so two trips had to be made. Upon completion of the move, you are forced to sign off that there was no damage in order for the 'clock' to stop. How is anyone supposed to know at that very second if there was damage done or not!!!!????? The only positive was that the crew was friendly and worked diligently. My absolute worst moving nightmare came true, the day of move (already over 6 hours late from the originally agreed time) this moving company cancelled on me. I originally booked 04/20 for a move on 06/09 and was told they were available. Called a week out as well to confirm and was told all was fine. They were suppose to be at my place at 9am on 06/09. Then the day before I get a text that they are going to be late the next day and they would be there around 11am. OK, not a huge deal, I just had internet and furniture deliveries scheduled that afternoon so that's why I had booked in the morning to begin with. Then 06/09, the day of move, I text at 10:20am to ask if they would still be there around 11am and was told that it was going to be more like 3pm because they were short staffed. Pretty miffed, but it is what it is. Then at 3:18pm I get the message that they won't be showing up and they would need to "reschedule". ABSOLUTELY MY WORST NIGHTMARE to be in an apartment full of boxes and furniture with no truck rented after 3pm on the day I need to move trying to find a moving crew to take pity on me and come move me last minute. I'll also add I have a condition that I won't get into, but I have a lot of issues with my hands and feet and I just wasn't capable of moving it all on my own, especially with no equipment. If you knew or had the slightest inclination you should have told me as soon as possible so I could make other accommodations. You can't do this to people. I will also add that I made many phone calls to local movers trying to find someone to move me that day, and I was told this was not the first time they had heard off issues with this particular moving company. I will also add that I used this company a few years back for a move within my same complex, and other than showing up 1-2 hours earlier than the agreed upon time (cant remember if it was 1 or 2 hours) everything went fine, so this experience was very disappointing. Must having some management issues going on and I would recommend steering clear while they work it out. Thank you very much to Get Moving & Storage LLC who took my call, and although they were busy and booked for the day, they recommended me to Cotton Movers who stepped up and helped move me same day!

We recently used Red Carpet Moving for 2 separate moves. They were responsive, on time and very…read morecarefully wrapped everything. They did an amazing job of fitting everything in the truck to ship across the country and quickly moved the other furniture into their own truck and moved into the house. They also moved a piano without any issues, scratches, etc. We had 5 people there wrapping, packing and moving and they worked quickly and were very organized about it. We did have to add a person to the team in order to get it done on time and Elijah let me know about the additional cost prior to that day. We have now used this team for 3 moves and they have done a great job each time. We would highly recommend them.
