But after I made that clear, Henrietta wrote up a contract for me to use. PROS: * The guys were VERY professional and courteous. * They padded and shrink wrapped EVERYTHING. Our items were well taken care of * There was only one piece of damage and they pointed it out on the unload. A wooden leg that was already soggy had gotten worse in the hot trailer. * They stuck to their commitments with me! Timeline AND price. * They moved me from TX to OH with 1 weeks notice and was $1,000 dollars cheaper than the big moving companies * The move was dedicated. NOT IN GOOD HANDS! There was damage to several of our furniture pieces, items broken that we were not told about and discovered broken glass they swept out onto our driveway and arrived with a truck that was not large enough, so two trips had to be made. Upon completion of the move, you are forced to sign off that there was no damage in order for the 'clock' to stop. How is anyone supposed to know at that very second if there was damage done or not!!!!????? The only positive was that the crew was friendly and worked diligently. 3 movers showed up to move our house and they were all very nice, however they were not professional at all. They damaged a chair (antique), an end table (pictured) and dropped and shattered our big green egg. When they brought in the end table the worker said "um, sorry, the knob came off" As you can see, it was much more than just a knob coming off. It was completely damaged beyond repair. He also said he could fix it with some gorilla glue. I actually laughed at that one! The same worker thought he could move the egg off the truck alone even though it weighs (with the large wooden stand it was on) probably 1000 lbs. It shattered because it is completely ceramic. We have submitted claim forms but the owner hasn't responded and said she would replace the egg with a used one, since ours wasn't new. It was less than 4 years old and only had been used maybe 8 times, it was in pristine condition. It also held a pampered chef pizza stone, which was also broken. After the egg incident the head worker and the one who dropped it screamed at each other loudly in our driveway for about 15 minutes, blaming and defending and screaming. All extremely unprofessional. We had provided lunch for them and were gracious to them at the time, because it is just things, but the fact that we haven't heard from them and no restitution has happened makes me want to leave a true review, so you know what you are getting. The worker who dropped the egg, said he wouldn't be returning to work because he didn't want to work for free. (obviously not recognizing that he would be working to pay off a debt, not working for free) He also said the owner would hire anyone who showed up to work, which let me know that they are mostly inexperienced at properly moving items of value. They also said they couldn't get the baby bed apart and didn't move it, however, when my husband went back to move it, it came apart quickly and easily. I think they just didn't want to move it. This is small, but also they told us they wouldn't move the mattresses without a mattress cover and that we would be charged for them if we didn't have them. So we purchased them ahead of time and they were never used. We left them on each of the mattresses for them to use, but the movers didn't use them. So that was wasted money as well. A lot of our boxes were smashed and I am so thankful we didn't let them move my valuable china, mirrors or pictures. So all in all, if you don't have stuff you care about, they were fine. This move happened in Nov 2020 and we still have no resolution and not even a returned call or text in regards to restitution. We are beyond frustrated and upset that we are going to have to take them to small claims court. We are getting our paperwork ready now to be served. read more

Used ICANN to move in February. We had a 1 year old 65 inch OLED TV that was damaged beyond repair by the movers. We turned in the claim to ICANN but have yet to receive any reimbursement. We were told they had insurance that would cover the cost of the TV but apparently not enough to cover a $2000 TV. They otherwise did a good job but will likely not use them again. read more

On 6/24/2022, three movers came out to my home to unload my Pod. They are very quick to have you sign via iPad and even ask you for a tip before work even began. I let them know that I would give tip after work was complete. Everything was going ok up until the point I had to use the restroom. Unbeknownst to me, they took the opportunity to load some of my items in their truck. A box containing my electric wok a George Forman grill. Also a brand new enclosed fan light. Homeowners beware. I would give 0 stars if I could. The movers showed up on time, but with a locked trailer and no key. After waiting 2 hours for the owner to show up with a key, they broke the corner of my glass table and ran into the wall with the foot of my couch, which busted a hole in the Sheetrock. The owner told me she sent the glass off to be repaired the next day. After 2 1/2 weeks of calling her continuously, I found out she never took the glass in. It took 3 weeks to finally get a new piece. As for the wall, I had the movers put in writing that the damages would be reimbursed once repairs were made. It has been 80 days now and I have not been reimbursed the $300 it cost to repair their damages. The owner says she has 90 days to reimburse for damages but insisted I pay for their services on the DAY OF. I would NOT recommend this moving company to anyone. The owner is VERY unprofessional- avoids calls and lies when I do get ahold of her. I have a feeling we'll end up going to court with this one. read more

Well first of all this is my third time using them and I've never had a problem. This time was different. We had a 3 bedroom townhouse that we wanted everything moved out of. We did a walk through of the house and let them know that everything goes. At the completion of loading everything we done a final walk through. My patio stuff was on the patio in front of a window and we looked out the window and didnt see anything but of course they knew they didnt get out grill or mini fridge. After everything was delivered at the new place they unloaded everything and my husband made mention of the grill and where he wanted it to go and they never mentioned that they left it. We went back to the house to get my other vehicle and my husband mentioned that he didnt see the grill. We checked in the back of the townhouse and low and behold there was the grill and mini fridge!!! We payed 790.00 for the move and we were very disappointed that when I called and let their boss know about what happened all we were offered was that he would let them know. I mean he could have at the very least gave us back the 30.00 fee we were charged for using a credit card. And mind you I was never told about that on the phone!! Would not recommend this company to anyone. First off the movers took their precious time to make sure they got the maximum amount of pay. When we arrived to my new location they assembled everything completely wrong! My boys beds were not even tightened. My washer and dryer was hooked up incorrectly they switched the hoses somehow. Went to wash a load of clothes and got a error message on my washer and the water was SUPER HOT. My Mirror that hooks on to my dresser was not properly assembled, the screws were loose and they did not use all of them, same with my bed. My dryer now has a dent in it i got in contact with the manager and he had me take pics of the damage and said that he would let the owner know and she would contact me and NEVER did. My poor dad had to come behind them and fix EVERYTHING they screwed up and he was PISSED!! Don't waste your time with this company people. read more

I highly recommend ICANN. In a recent move, the original movers I hired did not show up for the job. I called ICANN and they were able to come at the last minute. They seriously saved my bacon and prevented a disaster in terms of having to reschedule my unload, extend the truck rental, etc. Their folks were great. The only issues was that in my frantic rush to get everything done after getting two hours behind schedule was that I did not wrap the couch. They set it on it's side in the truck, and now there are black stripes of dirt going down the side. I'd say it was equally our responsibility. I didn't wrap it and they shouldn't have set it on it's side without putting something down on the truck floor. That being said, I would still use them again and I am still recommending them. read more

Be sure to get a quote in writing and be prepared to wait all day for the movers to arrive. They charge $45 for each 10 steps of stairway. If you live on the second floor, you'll pay for 2 flights of stairs. The verbal quote was for 3 movers and only 2 showed up. The move should have taken 1.5 hours tops. It took over 3 painstaking hours. The movers were supposed to arrive at 8 am and they didn't arrive until after noon. It was a small move with no appliances, large couches, recliners, or fragiles. The owner lied, the workers were slow and the move cost $450. They will accept only cash or will charge an additional 3%. Very Unprofessional! We had a move on 6/3/17 with ICANN Moving. Initially the communication was very good with Mrs. Holt the owner. She called me back promptly when I needed to change the date of the move. It was during and after the move that we had problems. We had several items damaged in the move. Also the moving crew damaged our sheetrock in our new rental. I discussed the damaged items with the crew and they said they would let Mrs. Holt know about it. I called her the day of the move and several times afterwards and she never picked up the phone or called me back. They broke a marble table top when they left it in the trailer and it fell over and broke into pieces. They could not get our velvet couch in the door and did not have appropriate tools to remove the feet on the couch. They tried to set it out in the front yard after we had just had a rain in an ant bed. My wife had to ask them to put a pad down so they did not damage the couch in the mud. Several of the items they shrink wrapped- the wrap came off and they got our mattresses and couch dirty. They tried to cram my wife's $6000.00 couch thru the front door scratching the velvet against the brick and denting one of the wooden legs. They took the finish off a Demilune we have. It was a nightmare to say the least. I felt like the crew was not as competent as they needed to be to move our items. Please avoid this company their name should be changed to ICANT! read more

We hired them for a move on July 15, 2017. The men worked very hard; however, the management is ridiculous. She quoted me a low price which made me go with her company. She stated she could do the move with one truck and complete the move in one day after coming to my house to catalog all of my items. On moving day, they discovered that they needed another truck which added $350 to price AND ended in my house until 3AM the following morning unloading items. They lost several items including the legs to my dining table. They found the legs next day, but lost the screws. I ended up buying new screws and putting it together myself. They destroyed a coffee table because the poor guys were not allowed to come back to finish the job the next day and were forced to work until 3AM. One of the movers was so exhausted, he basically quit and took a nap on my curbside in a very nice neighborhood in Mansfield. It was a bit embarrassing. Her own workers complained that she was making them report again at 5AM (2 hours later) to do another job out of state! A third of the items were never un-packed. Items were not placed in the correct rooms. She made multiple promises to send the guys back to fix my coffee table but no one ever showed up. At the end, she agreed to refund $500, but I never received the money. She never returned my calls or texts. Overall, this was a bad deal and a very un-professional and untrustworthy company.
