I was member since the club opened-I had melanoma & had to put membership on hold-manager did not…read morerelate it would only be for 3 months . I had to have more melanoma cut out and then realized I had my membership automatically renewed and charged for 3 months while still recovering. I called Planet Fitness and was told I had to come in-the gym was closed for renovation. Still being charged I called multiple times-I didn't want to cancel just refunded the monthly charges. I sent multiple emails to Mason and corporate. Corporate responded I had to contact Mason-still no response-now there is a new manager who gave me email of his boss-who is not part of franchise-his boss Josh has not called me. I went to cancel just so monthly fees would stop and was told I would be charged for this month because I was 3 days too late. Because a debit card is the only acceptable payment for Planet Fitness I have no way to get my money refunded This is criminal and I never thought I could be scammed like this

Planet Fitness doesn't exactly have a stellar reputation, and most people straight up told me not…read moreto give them my money. I ignored the warnings and for the first year or two, this location proved everyone wrong. It was welcoming, clean, and genuinely enjoyable. The staff were fantastic, and the general manager, Lorette, was exceptional: accommodating, kind, professional, and clearly invested in creating a positive environment. Then corporate energy showed up. Over the last 4-5 months, this gym has taken a sharp turn downhill. Whoever is calling the shots above the GM level seems determined to dismantle everything that actually worked. Great, experienced staff were pushed out and replaced with undertrained, disengaged employees, and the entire vibe shifted from friendly and community-oriented to cold and transactional. The few long-term employees who remain deserve medals. They're basically holding together a shipwreck with good attitudes and professionalism, and it's obvious they care--despite leadership making their jobs harder than necessary. The newest round of hires gives some hope, but let's be real: hope doesn't fix bad leadership. If the people in charge continue prioritizing numbers over people, this gym is going to lose what made it special. Corporate may not notice from their offices, but members do and many of us won't stick around forever.

Cancelling a membership here has been an absolute nightmare. I've followed every instruction…read morethey've given me, and I'm still getting billed months later. Communication is inconsistent, promises aren't followed through, and the burden is always on the customer to fix their mistakes. It feels like they make it as hard as possible to stop billing your account: which says a lot about how they value their members when they want to cancel. It's in the breakup that a gym's true character is shown, and this place failed the test. Trying to end my membership turned into a dragged‑out, confusing mess of "we'll take care of it" followed by more surprise charges. It shouldn't be this hard to leave a business you no longer want to be with.

I talked to kaylin and confirmed that I sent a letter to cancel my membership and to stop taking money off my card and she said she would freeze my account so it did not happen again. Well it kept happening over and over...five and six times a day. Everytime it would decline I was charged. I sent an email to the General Manager...Cody...and he never replied. This was very unprofessional. I am now forced to file a police report and go to court which will cost me more money upfront... I am not letting this go...it is no longer about the money, but about putting a business on notice, that I will not allow them to take money from me and get away with it. There will be a penalty for their criminal behavior. TJA

We learned all the safety and got strapped up with equipment. Very beginner friendly. But it's scary. There's a variety of courses, a couple beginner ones. They are very tall. The straps feel safe as well, for a split second as you're climbing, the slack needs to catch up, so you feel like nothing is holding you up. Phew. Don't look down lol but the decent from any point is safe with the cables. Trusting them is half the battle but once you're at the top you don't have much choice, that didn't stop me from pulling on the harness after every step lol. Multiple courses, one room with the harness and one without for free climbing, even though the free climbing is only like 10 ft tall (also I think it's called bouldering) it was still fun to try to strategically climb them without cheating. The climb to the top was rewarding on the big harness climbs. Your forearms will be worn out tho! Shout out the staff for being friendly and supportive.

We warmed up on the treadmills and then since there were 6 of us, Megan set up six stations/exercise for 1 minute of work and we did this two times. Then, she set up a second round. We finished with ab work. During this time, there was only one other trainer working with one person and they finished before we were done. It was a fast and fun workout that wasn't boring. My fear with boot camps is it is a way for trainers to be lazy and just throw out some dumb bells and jump rope and say have at it for X minutes. If I wanted to do that, I'd go to my garage with a workout I found on Pinterest. This workout used sandbags, plyo boxes, medicine balls, resistance bands, TRX, bosu and the usual jump ropes, dumb bells and mat floor work. If you're looking for a place north of 275 for small group personal training-type workouts, check out this place.

Megan works with my schedule and is flexible with her schedule as well. She learned what my goals are and tailors workouts to meet them even in bootcamp and semi-private settings. She is very personable and easy going to get along with. Even when I complain! As a single mother I have my 9 year old daughter with me almost every workout and Megan has even entertained my her and has sparked such an interest in her to get fit and grow strong! Megan has helped me transform my body into something I love! I'm leaner and stronger and I surprise myself every session with how much better I'm getting due to her guidance and expertise. Needless to say, if you're looking for a personal trainer or gym, or you are on the fence, definitely check her out at Custom Physiques. Plus the gym is private and never overcrowded. It has been one of the best investments I've ever made!
