Pre-COVID review: Bottom line: if you're a celiac, or love delicious food, come. Also, wine selection is amazing and super cheap. Gluten line: freaking heaven. Everything is labeled. Dishes come out with signs so you feel confident kitchen is careful. Long line: what a blessing when traveling to Spain. We both speak Spanish so we have no issues explaining celiac restrictions, but places like this make the whole experience stress free and effortless. Not only that, the service was amazing. We honestly went back just to hang out with our server (and we normally never go to a place twice on vacation). The wine selection is big enough, and all the wines we tried were crazy good for the price. Personally I am not celiac, my wife is, but I regularly eat gluten free to reduce cross contamination. Eating both I can tell you they do a great job in the kitchen. I would absolutely recommend.

Great little italian spot in Madrid's theater district. Their olive oil is delicious! It's homemade and flavored with thyme and garlic and other good stuff. My boyfriend and I shared two small pasta dishes and a tomato & pesto pizza. The dish that stood out the most to me was the squid ink pasta with mushrooms and garlic. So flavorful! FYI, when in Spain, bread is always an extra charge and they automatically start you off with it, so if you don't want it tell them to take it away!

They are so accommodating to every intolerance/allergy/disability. They even have a gluten free roll to start you off. I've been waiting all week to try this place but they do close midday which is what prevented me from coming sooner. Hopefully before my trip is done I can try their pasta. But for now their Hawaiian pizza was so good and a little to dusty from excess flour they use be overall my experience was amazing.

Most of our group is gluten and dairy sensitive so it was great to find this place. High quality Italian food catering to all types of allergies.

Pasta was well cooked, tasty sauce, nice staff. Just didn't have that little extra something to earn a full 5 stars. Good lunch spot.

Great place for gluten free options! Even have bread available. Make sure you ask for the separate menu (and in English if you need it)

We wasted no time and ordered their white vermut and red vermut and then tried their spanish wine.. their wine was great but their house vermut - undeniably the best I had in Madrid (trust me I had plenty). They give free tapas with their drinks - mushrooms (wow) and also ham and mini breadsticks. This was perfect to pair with our vermut and wine. We loved their house vermut so much that we ordered 2 bottles to take back home with us. Staff was friendly and loved the vibe of this bar. I will miss this place for sure! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I opted out of the experience, but from what I saw and heard, patrons were raving about this drink! Instead, I stuck to my vacation Spanish drink-- Sangria. Solid, strong, refreshing & delicious! There are tons of tapas options and true to how tapas are meant to be, portions are small -- perfect for those who want to try more on the menu or explore other delicious options in La Latina. I ordered #20) the meatballs in tomato sauce (albóndigas caseras en salsa de tomate) and was SO disappointed -- they arrived cold and tasted pretty basic. There are definitely stronger contenders on the menu -- I just happened to choose the wrong one... If I could do it over, maybeee the 14) White Prawn Carpaccio or the 3) Smoked Cod on Toast

The decor is special…read moreand unique , the servers are professional and this is close to a 4.5/5 than a 4/5 The place is a bar with food and we got two of their cocktails which were pretty good - the samba (capirinia style ) was not bad (3.6/5) but the santa -Anna was much better (4.2/5) For food we tried the following : 1) burrata - very generous ball of burrata but the strawberries are just not a great companion . I did miss the classic tomato's (3.5/5) 2) potato omelette w truffles - this is their most famous dish and indeed it was excellent . The truffle does add a lot to our (4.1/5) 3) oxtail lasagna - a very good dish - the meat was cooked to perfection . Could use more tomatoes and cheese though (4/5) We ordered a bit too much for two people , I would stay w 2 to split . Altogether recommended !

Service was awful (our server literally left during our tasting menu & I guess didn't tell anyone to take over our table because we just stopped getting dishes at one point). The vibe is super tacky (the waitress stands next to your table & sings karaoke to you & they bring in club promoters to bother you at your table with invites to events). Given we were traveling in Madrid, I was extremely disappointed in this dinner. The only saving grace was the scallops dish which was interesting & tasty. Positives: atmosphere, tasting menu Negatives: bad food, bad music, bad service, overrated

The food was outstanding…read more But. The service was a bit rude - let me explain We walked in after reading good yelp reviews. We were greeted by a less than friendly fellow. We asked for a table and were asked if we had reservations - we did not - but we were lucky enough to be seated anyway. We were provided menus. Then the wait began. We watched as other patrons - known to the host were sweated and served before us. We then watched as tables began to receive food items that were seemingly not on the menu. We ordered a few tapas and plates to test a variety of stuff but were bewildered at the plates that other food were getting. Specifically, it seems like other patrons were getting multiple course meals. We were not offered this nor told about it. As we were leaving, we realized that there was an extra card on select menus that had a "special of the day" that included multiple courses and at an extremely reasonable price (less than what we paid for our individual plates). Was it because we were tourists? We were a party of five and none of our menus had the special insert. I was really disappointed by this seemingly deliberate exclusion. I will say this, the food that was brought to us was very good and the host did eventually warm up to us But I can't help but feel negatively impacted by this experience.
