Our waiter was very apologetic about the length of time it took for our order to appear - we hadn't actually noticed a delay - he said it was because the owner was away for a week so they had one less member of staff. They are obviously used to providing a very speedy service - perhaps because of all the takeaways they do. Whilst we were there one member of staff was continually busy on the phone taking orders. Their takeaways are obviously very popular and they deliver to quite a wide area. None of this interfered with our enjoyment of our meal. It just gave it a nice neighbourhood feel.
