Waited until after 1:30, called them, got transferred to someone who had that bathroom phone sound and put on hold. Finally hung up. I hired Ms. Burgos and her firm regarding a long-term disability appeal with a renowned insurance company that famously denies legitimate disability cases. They have been professional, capable, and dogged in their attempts to both get me back on claim and push for the best outcome in settlement, or go to court if these things did not fulfill the claim to my satisfaction. I truly appreciate Eddie, Kevin (his more than capable JD), Sonya (Appeals Coordinator), and all the others who worked on my case! I started working with Dabdoub law firm in October of 2019. In late 2017 I had gone on disability due to chronic pain from past neck and back injuries/surgeries. I had already battled to switch from STD to LTD and had appealed twice on my claim. Given those things, when I started seeing signs they were working up to another denial I started interviewing lawyers. With most of the lawyers I talked to, there was a feeling they were just going to try to get to settlement and be done with it. This is NOT what you want in a lawyer because they will not push to achieve the best outcome for you individually. Back in April 2022, my Long-Term Disability (LTD) Insurance and thanks to the Dabdoub Law Firm my benefits were reinstated in Jan 2023. I was in complete shock as was my family and doctors who were all fully supportive of my disability. Being disabled alone is difficult enough then having to figure out this, I felt completely lost. I asked New York Life how to appeal their decision, everything they told me to do was wrong. I spent weeks researching and thinking what to do, I found the Dabdoub Law Firm. I spoke with the founder, Edward Dabdoub multiple times and he answered all my questions and was very compassionate about my situation. Attorney Kevin Probst along with multiple attorneys worked on my case; they were all great as was the entire staff including my Legal Assistant Claudio Reyes. The firm had a small family feel but a large enough staff to handle everything so I liked having that peace of mind. I liked being able to do everything electronically which was much easier for me. In my option the Dabdoub Law Firm is the best Long-Term Disability (LTD) Firm in the USA. I spent a lot of time researching and speaking with other Law Firms but I did not feel as comfortable with them or their contracts.
