I would start this review by saying if you have them come out and give you their overpriced quote, turn it down and they will continue to call you with alleged better deals. We were looking to just replace a tub. When our salesman explained that they wouldn't just replace the tub but have to redo the whole shower/tub area, it made sense. This is a small shower and tub, nothing fancy. The quote was over $18k. We were way off in respects to budget. The sales guy left and all was good. Until the phone calls started, Friday night, not answered. Saturday morning, answered but the guy who called just hung up after a few minutes. Sunday, answered and explained we are not going with them even if they knocked 75% off the price. Now again Monday morning another person calls and tries to say they want to schedule a Senior Sales guy to come out because they have more economical options. Well if you have those options, then you should of informed your sales person the night of the visit that 'more economical' options are available. In home sales pitch was very pushy. I ended up going through with it. I got siding and gutters done. Everything that they did does look good, but they did not do one small part of the house. When I talked to the salesman about it he said he would get it taken care of because it was his fault he did not check a box for that part of the house. If they can not follow the rules before the sale I have zero faith they will follow the rules in doing the job. I have not had my windows installed yet, so thwse commebnt are a refview of the sales rep Jeff. He was professional and knowledgable and I didn't feel pressured. He gave me many options in temrs of cosat and quality of the pthe product. After the window measurements were taken Jeff contacted me to say there would be an upgrade to the windwo tye and quality due to the measurements and the upgrade woudl be complimentary. Very poor communication and very deceptive office staff. You cannot get in touch with them by phone or text. I would definitely recommend NOT to hire this company! Pick a different company if you want a great experience from start to finish. I had to do all issues that were missed during installation after numerous unanswered calls and texts. There is trouble recouping the electrical costs after siding installation because you have to hire an electrician to re hook up outdoor lights and outlets. A very untrustworthy company. Stay Away From This Company They came to my door one day and said that they'd do a free quote for my windows. I only wanted to get a quote and told them from the start that I wasn't interested in buying. The next day 2 sales reps come in and measure the windows. It was going along well until they get to their sales pitch. I said I wasn't interested in buying and I kept trying to get a quick quote out of them, but they kept pushing it back and saying how qualified they were and all the qualifications their window installers have. I told them I wasn't interested and that I would be looking into getting them down myself once I have enough money saved up to purchase the windows. Next the sales rep named Jayden started using a condescending tone and pretty much disparaging me to my face. He kept saying how I need to pull this permit, how my house is built in this time period, so I would need this extra qualification, and this and that. Basically doing everything in his power to dissuade me from even thinking about doing it myself. I stayed firm on my decision that I will figure that out when I'm closer to saving an enough money up, so he made a phone call to his manager. The entire conversation on the phone he was just calling me inexperienced and saying I don't know what I'm doing and how I'm going to just use windows from home depot. I'm not even sure if he was actually talking to a manager, but the whole time he kept chuckling and smiling pretty much putting me down. I got quite irritated and said to leave the house if you were going to be talking about me like that. He just kept smiling at me and chuckling to himself and wouldn't leave. Once he was off the phone, they stayed for an extra 20 minutes until they were satisfied showing me the difference between the different types of windows and heat transfer with a heat lamp. At this point I was quite irritated and kept saying that I just wanted a quote during the entire showing of the display, but they said they don't have it yet. I just want to say that the other sales rep that was with Jayden was fine, he wasn't condescending or anything, but he didn't talk all that much during the interaction, so I can't say how he would be if was the main person giving the sales pitch. Overall with just the sales people alone and from the reviews I read about this company after having this interaction, I would say to never go with this company. The final quote they gave me was so overpriced compared to average prices I can get from actual local contractors. I also read that they just subcontract their work out and squeeze every dollar they can out of them. If you are penny pinching that hard for the highest profit margin you can get and you aren't the ones that are actually doing it, how can you expect the job to actually be done well. If you take one thing away from this review, it is to avoid this company at all costs. They will make it seem like they have all this work piled up and they are doing you a favor by allowing them to do work for you, but that is all a facade to get the most money out of you as they can. read more

The sales men for DaBella were so pushy to sale me the insane high price for just a window with small cracks. I wanted just the broken window glass fixed/replaced.However, the sales men told me it is not fixable, they also don't just replace the single broken glass. Not only I had to go through over an hour of tiring lecture about how great their company was they also refused to give me a copy of the quote when I asked them to give me one, so I compare with other contractor prices.One of the guy pretended as if he was waiting for his boss to talk to on the phone before he was going to give me the copy of their quote and left with the phone on his ear "waiting" for his boss to talk to.Such a pretender! I had windows installed in July 2024 and have had nothing but problem with them. Their quality of work is terrible. I had to tell the installer that the corners of the frame didn't match up. They left calking on the floor of my new deck. I had to have them come back in December 2024 because the framing inside my house had all popped off because they didn't nail it in correctly. I'd there was a way I could attach pictures to this review I would. Their work is messy and the quality it not what we paid for. The example they showed us before the install was in perfect condition but their work doesn't match what they showed us. We will never use them again and would not give a recommendation. Dabella salesmen promised me that my roof would be re-shingled. I specifically inquired about the short hip roofs that existed at the bottom of my four gables. The salesman said that he knew what I was referring to and that they would remove the current hip roof covering and, if necessary, re-deck and then reshingle using the same shingle that was used on the rest of the roof. The workers, none of whom spoke English, finished in less than a day and were cleaning up. I noticed that they had not touched the hip roofs. When I finally got a hold of the project manager he said that his foreman told him that they never did hip roofs. The salesman recommended that I use an elastomeric product that I was going to put on my front porch roof instead of shingles. The general manager stated that he and "a buddy' would roll the elastomeric product on the roof but that I'd have to fore him privately to do so. I refused because the roof surfaces would not match and there would be no warranty on the hiproofs. DaBella did the work on the main roof without pulling a permit and only did so after the city told me to tell them that they had to. I wonder if the workers who did the job, who didn't speak any English, had work permits to do the work legally. BEWARE OF DABELLA. read more

VERY PUSHY salesman. He didn't respect when we told him we had to talk it over and think about it and get back to him. Just kept pushing for a yes out of us..he stayed for over 2 hours...still wouldn't take an "we'll get back to you." Finally we had to say no, we pass 3 TIMES before he took the hint. Wasn't that we weren't gonna use them, just wanted a quote to compare to other places. But when you keep upping the price from the original quote, not professional or someone I want to use. The salesman was great, but never got to deal with him again. DeBella called to schedule the install, and said they would be there between 8-10am. The workers showed up at 3:30, which was awkward since nobody spoke English. The contractor showed up about a half hour later, no explanation or call for the delay, actually cancelled an appointment to be there. I said I had another meeting since you were late, they said they would stay the entire time, but once I paid the balance the contractor left immidiately. I saw the workers truck leave without any notice they were done, I was assured there would be a QA after the job was done, I guess not. Went outside, had to put furniture back, pick up nails and pieces of metal all around the house. Still have nails on the clear roof of pergola. DaBella charges quite a bit more, which we expected would include a more invested customer experience. Was waiting for a call back, and got one 2 days later to tell me they didn't have the correct product and would be out the next day to install, which I said "can I give you a little feedback". Overall, was the job done with the right product?, paid too much, customer service sucked, communication was horrible. Would I use Debella again, absolutely not. Will anything actually happen to rectify anything, more than likely not. read more

Dabella located in Golden Valley, MN. DO NOT use this company for the installation of windows... Deceptive from the beginning. They contract out everything. They do not make the products or install the products as they advertise. They start requesting you to sign final documents and make final payment when the job is not complete or inspected. The City Inspector had to be contacted and Dabella wouldn't answer his calls or show up for the final inspection. Received calls from Dabella only about money. That's because once you sign the contract with them, everything is contracted out. Reviews like this (the truth) get buried. It's terrible to know they can continue to take money from hardworking, honest people and not have to be accountable for their shady business tactics. This can all be backed up with paperwork, phone records and photos. Unfortunately, I have doubts this review will be seen by anyone. read more
