Cool interior, tasty fries, burger, Da'Truth

Burger joint and next door butcher? A match made in heaven! This place has a great vibe, funky interior, easy going clientele, and most importantly very nice food. We were greeted by a cool dude (the owner) who took orders, advised on micro brews, and brought out food to tables (no numbers, so they just remember where you sit). Da busstop was the best burger I've had in a long time. The flavors in the meat and sauce were excellent ("complexity disguised as simplicity" as they call it). I will be back for sure; next on my wish list is probably Da'Cure.

I can say this place has the best burger I've ever had! The place looks very trendy, kind of hip atmosphere. It kind of like a fast good kinda style but not the food or the services. So we walked in to order the food at the counter and then they brought the food to us. I ordered the foul play which is a grilled chicken with cheese and da'burger's own tomato relish and chilli jam. Oh man, the combination of the sauce and the meat and veggies feel like heaven in my mouth. It's 11.90$ for a huge foul play burger and I couldn't finish it. Don't forget to order the Da'Burger Beer Battered Chips!!! Even you can't finish it. So crisp and fresh, nothing like any chip you've tried before. I will definitely go back again!

When you come to a burger place , and they have boutique beer called " Feral Hop Hog & Fig Jam IPA" and the burgers are called " Foul Chook & Bus Stop " you know you are in for a unique experience . If anyone knows of another restaurant we you can actually leave your opinion written on the walls and ceiling please let me know. BYW the prices are very reasonable and servings spot on, and when the chips come out in the old fashioned paper bag, and there famous tomato relish sauce , you know you are for a truly amazing experience .

Walking through the doors of Daburger after a year felt like being welcomed by a friend you hadn't seen in ages but as soon as you meet up again it's like no time has past at all. Great burgers, check. Great atmosphere, check. Great service, check. Please don't ever change DaBurger, you are perfect just the way you are. Even though I've read the walls many times I can still get a laugh from some of the things people have written. Still a huge serving of chips and mouthwatering burgers I'm used to. The last 6 months I have not liked burgers at all but DaBurger has given me back my love of sauce running down my fingers as I devour the juicy goodness of these burgers. Thank you DaBurger. You stay you.

If you are going cheap, simply order the DA'Burger, your mind may literally be blown.

I suppose I should've been a little clearer as I'd wanted a lettuce wrap. Not a huge deal as they had plastic ware on site. I chose the bacon burger with two patties. The burgers were very juicy and grilled to perfection. The bacon could have been more crispy, but not a deal breaker. I chose the chipotle mayo which was tasty and paired well with the fries. The fries were crispy and had a flavorful seasoning on them. To round it out, I got a peanutbutter milkshake at the suggestion of the cashier; she said they were delicious. She was not wrong. The shake was awesome! The restaurant is fairly small and there's not much to talk about other than the cool wallpaper and weekly top 20 beats pumping through the stereo. Great place to get a burger and hang out.

I ordered the Big Queenslander that is lean beef, tasty cheese, crispy trim bacon, free range egg, couple of slices of beetroot with salad, relish, and herbed mayo with hot chips. The burger was HUGE! It was tasty as well but got a bit messy. I think the egg was a bit too much for me. The highlight was definitely the beetroot. I have fallen in love with beetroot since coming to Australia. The buns were fine but didn't stand out like the Beastie ones. The hot chips had a Grill'd herb mix which was pretty tasty. It's nice to add garlic and salt to the chips. Since there were so many burgers to choose from, I would like to go back to Grill'd and try out a chicken burger. It's been super fun trying out all the burger joints in town and if anyone knows a secret burger joint I must try- let me know!

The restaurant is very much open but manages to retain so much charm. You just want to sit yourself down in a booth with a loved one and talk with them until there is nothing left to say and only the assumption of love is left. We managed to arrive just after the lunch rush, so ordering was quick and the wait time was minimal. If you like Reese's Pieces peanut butter candy you must try the Natella Peanut Butter milkshake. A sweet infusion of chocolate and peanuts that was just too delicious. I had the New Yorker and my wife the el Diablo. The New Yorker was such an enjoyable burger, only issue was the glazed milk bun was cut on such a slope that it thinned out terribly on one side. Despite that you could really bite into the beef pattie, the salt from maple bacon, pickles and American style cheddar were held in place by the hickory BBQ sauce and freshness of the lettuce and tomato. My wife very much enjoyed her el Diablo and said she'd order it again. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant experience all round.

There was no diet coke so they asked if Pepsi max would be alright. I've no aversion to Pepsi, so I said sure. It all started to go down hill when they poured my drink .... From a carafe which had been sitting out on the bar. The result was one very, very flat paper cup full of sugar water. Next to the burger. I'd heard great reviews so I expected good things. The first issue arose when it was served: it's huge and there is no cutlery. You can't cut it into slices or halves. If you're reasonably petite (like me) and have correspondingly small hands and mouth, you might struggle to eat the big, dripping with fat, oozing mustard and sauce cheeseburger. You basically just have to smoosh it at your face .... At which point it quickly begins to fall apart. The meat slid out the bottom, the pickles popped out the top - it was awful. Not to mention I was covered all over my face and hands in oily smelly mustard. Four napkins later I was barely half way through when I saw the final straw: the inside of the patty was red raw. Nope, no way, nuh uh. This isn't steak freaking tartare. It's a burger, and it should be cooked through. I couldn't finish. Im now feeling quite unwell from the oil and sauce overload. The chips were actually quite good but not enough to bring me back. If you want a decent burger in the city, don't go here. Again I'm left wishing I could give a restaurant no stars.
