After we agreed on a price, things changed once he arrived. He added work without gaining approval first. In fact, we had told him in writing that the tenant might ask for more work to be done, but we were not authorizing it. He did it anyway and charged us. He was also not transparent about disposal fees until he was already on site and there wasn't much we could do about it. Not only did he lack transparency, but his overall professionalism was lacking. We had to ask, multiple times for an invoice for our records. The invoice terms stated Net 30 but he began harassing us to pay the invoice via text and email within hours of sending the invoice.

I live near Dana Park and Eugene, owner of Pioneer Valley Handyman, happened to be visiting the afternoon of 02/07/2023 with his daughter. I was in my yard and asked for a minute of his time. He took a look at the roof and gave me a price and repair date of the following afternoon. He arrived on 02/08/2023 as promised, completed the work promptly and professionally, and I feel much better going forward. I highly recommend Eugene Quinlan as a general repairman.
