Now I am the type that isn't going to substitute my gin if they don't have my brand so this issue may bother me more than others. However, if you are very specific about what you consume I highly recommend calling them and confirming it is actually on the shelf, been fooled by that before, instead of driving over there just to be frustrated.

With great confidence I can say that THE liquor shoppe has earned its namesake with one of the best selection of allocated whiskeys at a fair price that I have ever found in Florida. Nestled away in New Tampa in a hidden shopping plaza I stumbled into this store. The store clerk is a very friendly guy who was happy to walk me through their massive whiskey wall and answer any questions I had in regards to their stock. On this trip I decided to pick up Elijah Craig Toasted, but strongly considered the barrel proof option as well. Several other hard to find whiskeys were here like the McKenna 10yr and the Sazerac Rye. Plenty of Buffalo trace, and even a couple bottles of Blanton's though the price point wasn't where I would have hoped. Nevertheless, if you know you want to find something special then this would be the place to go.

This was my second visit, hoping things would be better, but unfortunately they weren't. When I went in today, many of the coolers looked almost empty, and it was difficult to find the items I was looking for. The store didn't appear to be well stocked, which made for a frustrating shopping experience. I used to enjoy shopping here, but between the poor customer service, the attitude, and the lack of items, I don't plan on returning. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and make some much needed improvements.
