Worst experience ever. My vehicle broke down back in the middle of August. I called Sam to see if…read morehe could look at it. He agreeed so i had it towed to him. Sam kept pushing the work on my vehicle back every time I spoke with him. I spoke with him after him having my vehicle over a month and he told me he has not done anything with it due to being the only one at his shop and has no way to get it in the bay. I said that he should have told me this from the beginning and I would have come and helped. We set a date and time for me to come by and help of Oct 2 at 430. I called a tow service to see what it would take to have them help. The tow spike with Sam and was told he was not ready and would call when he was. They never heard from him. When I arrived on Oct 2, Sam had already left and locked up the shop. I was there even before 430. No call, nothing. I even tried calling on my way there with no answer. I left a note stating I was there and to call me in the morning. Nothing. I started calling around to have my vehicle towed elsewhere. I called Sam to let him know that a tow was on the way and he said that he got it in the bay and was working on it. I asked how he did it do that by himself, and he told me that he figured it out. He replaced the fuel pump and a ring. I drove it home on Oct 3. Did not drive it that Saturday then drove it in the morning to church on Sunday. Went to leave for work on Monday morning and it would not start. I called Sam first thing around 830 Monday and we discussed that it could be a part (the new fuel pump he just put in). He told me to have it towed and would look at it the next day. On Tuesday afternoon I called him to see how it was going and he told me he did not look at it and it would now be Friday before he does. Come Friday he tells me that there was no power to the fuel pump and he did not know how to figure it out. Mind you, he told me that he ordered another fuel pump for just in case before checking things out. He told me that I would need to have someone else look at it being he did not know what to do or what it was. I had it towed to Auto Solutions to have them look at it. They looked at it the following week and told me that there IS power to the pump and that it could be a bad fuel pump. Mind you, Sam never gave me a receipt from replacing it. I asked a friend to stop by to get one from him putting it in and he refused to print one and gave her an attitude. He told her that he put it on my seat and there was never one there. Not that hard to print a copy. Auto Solutions pulled off the pump Sam replaced and it fell apart. Sam bought it from Oreillys and they will not warranty it unless Sam does the work. Sam refuses to answer my calls. I now had to pay again for a fuel pump replacement. Do NOT use Fifth Street Auto Service. He does not stand by his work. Worst service ever and rips you off. Very disappointed. It is now the end of October and my vehicle is FINALLY fixed, after 3-4 tows and a LOT of headache and money. He is never there until 5. He is gone before 4 and sometimes before 3. Again, he will not answer calls. Do not use him.

My car needed a small clamp which they unfortunately did not have in stock but they will order it & not charge for install if I will come back. They did bring me a filter needing replacement but again no charge for install. Told me the engine filter will need replacement at some point but for now theyblow it off to clean it and put it back. They even told me about Chevy rewards and I don't know if this is new but no other dealer has ever mentioned it before. It is not a credit card which I have been told about.

I ended up speaking with Jim who told me "I can make or break this repair for you" when I was upset about the lies and poor workmanship. We eventually got to better footing but I cannot in good faith give a good rating when the fourth visit started off with "I can make or break this for you". That is a threat. If you go here, double check that they replaced what they said they replaced. Ask for your old parts. If you don't have the smarts to catch them you might be getting screwed.

Think the dealer would back up the truck they just sold. Nope. They say do this, then do this. Then they just will not return your calls or emails.
