So I don't usually do this I am not the kind of person that writes reviews I always look at it like OK I'm a mistake happen somebody wasn't happy. They both you know. Wake up tomorrow and start over but tonight it is just no way around it. I have never been as disappointed with an ice cream or with Dairy Queen as I am right now. So I'm on my way home. I decided I want a chocolate dipped strawberry blizzard add Oreo (I get one or two a week either from the Holly or the Weidman DQ's, both of of those locations are amazing. Never had one issue with either of them.) I go through the drive-through pay for it and hand it to me. I pull off. I'm about half a mile down the road take a bite, Realize there's no Oreo in it I turn around go back through the drive-through explain there's no Oreo, she was nice about it. I handed it to her she took it added what seemed to be their entire supply of Oreo in that whole store to my cup. Gave it back to me. I say thank you, pull off, take a bite, stir it (had Oreo cookie crumbs all over my lap) take another bite only to realize there's no strawberry in it. So I have to go to the next off exit so I can turn around to go back. I pull up yet again and I reorder it again!! I say I would like a medium blizzard with chocolate dipped strawberry and I would like to add Oreo pieces just the normal way you make it,not an overabundant of anything,just the normal way you would make it on a normal day. She says OK I pull up. I try to give her my previous ordered large as I'm explaining to her there was no strawberry in it. She did not take my old blizzard she just looked at me and she said $6.02 . I said $6.02 for what you didn't make my first blizzard the right way I'm trying to give it back to you. She just stared at me and repeated $6.02. I said "I have to pay for another blizzard that I already paid for that you guys didn't make right not once but twice" , she said yes!! So I payed her a second time for a blizzard that still isn't made correctly the second one has no chocolate pieces!!!! One of the worst dairy queen's we have ever been to. We ordered 2 chicken basket with 6 chicken tenders each. Tell me why I open my basket there are 3 chicken tenders in it? My boyfriend bites into his chicken tender and gives into a rock hard piece. Not only the chicken was messed up but the cheese curds were burnt to a crisp. We were waiting at the window for nearly 15 minutes only for our order to come out half assed. read more

Whether ordering food or a cold treat, I've never encountered a bad experience. The staff is friendly, the service is prompt, and the order is made to my expectations. It's also a restaurant where I feel very comfortable both inside or out (in their spacious pavilion). The staff is impeccable in maintaining a very clean and welcoming environment. I enjoy going here, sometimes me and my friends walk here and get ice cream we don't do drive through so we don't really have bad experiences we tell them what we want and they give it to us and it's hard to get two ice creams wrong when we are standing in front of them, so so far all my experiences have been good. read more

We got there with 15 minutes before they closed and the drive thru was wrapped..we decided to go in. The service was amazing! The young woman working the register was very nice. It didn't take long for them to make our blizzards. There was even a car that pulled in for drive thru right after they closed and they still accepted his order!! We were very impressed read more

Picnic Peach Cobbler is THE MOST disgusting blizzard i've ever had. it was so bad i had to come on here and write about it. it tastes like someone threw up in a cup and handed to me to eat. If i could give it a zero i would but i can't so it gets a one. i'm so greatly heartbroken. read more

The service is the worst. The staff was messy and on oganized. I went inside to place order with my family at the time we where tge only ones in line to be served. We waited 15 min before placin the order. Thwre where 4 staff members all grouped and talking at the front counter about none work related things. Not one of them even looked at us or greated. The young lady that took our order kept typing it in wrong. After placing our order we watched others come in and get their food before us it took 25 min before we got our food. After waiting 15 min we decided to place our dessert order on the app. It said our order would be ready for pick up at 635pm. We just got our food and i asked if our mobile order was ready. The staff had to look up our order because it was deleted and not made. Then told us that they would not be able to make the order because their machine was not working right and would not be able to tell us how long it was going to take till the icecream was firm. I asked if i could gwt a refund. They told me they didnt know how and said i needed to get a hold of Dariy to get reinburst. This was the grosses restraunt food every where and staff eating on the main line. read more

My mother went to this location 3450 W Vienna Rd, Clio, MI 48420 on Fathers day 6/21/20. My daughter had heard me talking about wanting a blizzard but the lines being really long. So she saved her money and asked my mom to take her and get a gift card for me. My mom has hard time walking because shes had both of her knees replaced (40+ years as a nurse). So they drove to this location and walked into the dining area. My mother asked if she could purchase a gift card for fathers day. She was told by the person behind the counted that they were only selling ice cream cakes. If she wanted to to purchase a gift card she would have to wait in the drive through line. My mom asked to speak to the manager because she didn't understand why she couldn't purchase one from the counter. The manager came up front and told my mother that she could only purchase a gift card in the drive through line and that she would have to wait in that line. My mother told my daughter and my daughter got upset. She cried the whole way home because she couldn't purchase a gift card for a fathers day gift. So I hope the employees at this location are happy that they made an 8 year old cry. She even apologized to me for not being able to get a gift card. I told her that she didn't need to apologize and that daddy was no longer interested in over priced ice cream. There aren't enough blizzards in the world that could make up for the fact that your made my daughter cry and feel like she had to apologize to me. Went through the drive through and had to repeat my self multiple times. Then, after one item, they have me a total and I had 3 more items to add. My kids were deciding and they were rushing us. The toppings in the blizzards were very slim and it was mostly icecream. read more

The staff was rude when we tried to order at the drive thru. I guess they weren't interested in helping us know what the ingredients of certain blizzards were. We smelled marijuana coming from inside the building! Our blizzards were garbage, they weren't mixed all the way. Neither of us finished ours. This was our last visit here. read more

Our blizzards were mostly vanilla ice cream, barely mixed and hardly any toppings!! This happens often at this DQ unfortunately!!

I've never had a good experience at this location ever. Have gone there several times this year and each time has been worse than the last. Large twists are the size of Jrs. This visit today we ordered several royal cheesecake blizzards and they literally had no filling at all. Just ice cream and crumbs. Called up to speak to the manager and they offered no help unless we drove 30 minutes back tonight. Very poor customer service. read more

Filthy! Filthy! Filthy! Everything, and I mean everything was either sticky, greasy or covered in crumbs or garbage paper products. What does the back of this place look like if this is how they keep the front? There were plenty of employees here, just no direction. If you don't want to take your chances on sticking to the floor, seat or table, steer clear of this place. read more

Normally we enjoy going to the Clio DQ as the food is always good and the staff is very friendly. In my opinion, they have the best burgers. But, Always check your beverage before leaving as their soda dispenser seems to be lacking fizz or flavoring. There is nothing like a cherry coke that tastes like nasty carbonated water. read more

Clean, noise level is good, love the outdoor seating. Also, this DQ is right on the Clio bike path so a great stop when out for a ride or walk. We have always received average service here, the employees are young and still learning but never rude. The food is just as any other DQ with nothing negative. I've visited many times and always had consistent service and food. read more
