Okay, so this place doesn't understand what their own happy hour is? I've gone through here multiple times. Sometimes I get the $2 pretzels (at happy hour) sometimes I do not. Today I decided to try and confront them about it and why they are charging the regular $2.49 instead of the $2 at happy hour. After tax they say it is $2.60-something. The manager said that's because there is tax added. Yes, cool, understandable. But why are you not following your own happy hour if you don't understand it? Why is it still being advertised? I have gone to the location on west o in lincoln and have received the $2 happy hour pretzels (DUH THERES TAX ADDED). But if I wanted the regular price of pretzels I wouldn't go during happy hour. There was zero management, the girls in the front had no idea what they were doing, and the CUSTOMERS were actively refilling napkin dispensers because this place is a wreck. I gave this a 1 due to the ice cream. Although if I were rating the employees I would leave a 5. There is no good time to go and be able to get decent ice cream. The ice cream is gritty and seems watery and is leaky. We used to call about it but only received a replacement just as bad. Therefore we've just been throwing it away and will not go back. In addition their 1/2 price ice cream cakes are now only one day and even if you are out of town they will not make any exception. Previously their 1/2 cakes lasted a week and was not only limited to the cakes. They no longer offer offer the logs at 1/2 price. The cakes are not of the good quality they used to be either. I thought Dairy Queen would hit the spot for today. But in the end it didn't. I walked up to the lady in front to place my order and thought she knew what she was doing. Until the people behind me got their food way before me. Our food arrived but it was not the whole order we were still missing 3 burgers and 1 chicken tender meal. It was like 1 hour late. Not just that they didn't even have that food ready. So we told them to make it with SPECIFIC instructions in the receipt and she still asks me what we wanted on it like it's on the receipt. Once the food came in the burgers came out wrong with everything on it which is not how we wanted it in the first place. On top of that on the receipt there were only 2 burgers placed when there was supposed to be 3 burgers in total. They made 2-3 Consecutive Mistakes. The guy in the Kitchen clearly doesn't know what he was doing since he lost the ticket/receipt for the food. When the burgers finally came the meat wasn't cooked right it was hard and nasty and the cheese was just cold. They barely put any fries. I will not be coming to Dairy Queen anymore. I just hope the girl in the front and the guy in the kitchen pay more attention to what they are doing because clearly they didn't know what they were doing. It was busy but there were other people who actually got their orders unlike us. Pretty disappointed in this place and in the direction they are going towards. read more
