Since I saw the long line I decided to go inside, where there was no one behind the register. I ordered 2 hotdogs and both were cold. I work a walking distance away so there is no reason my food should have been cold by the time i got back. It was like they took it right out of the fridge. We ordered 2 Choco Brownie blizzards. As you can see, they are both 3/4 vanilla ice cream. The 1st order we received, 1 of them was totally melted. We asked for it to be made over and it was, So you would think it would be right. I could only think that this is the way they make them here. Do not go to this location. It was absolutely disgusting . Very dirty , were driving through & figured we stop her for a shake and bathroom break. Ordered the shake and as we walked to the bathroom while we waited the Floors were filthy as if they hadn't mopped or cleaned in weeks. The bathroom was even worse of course. This was the 3rd time I visited this DQ and the 3rd time I ordered a Blizzard and the 3rd time the Blizzard was served partially melted. This evening, my Blizzard was not turned upside down. Although it could be turned upside down for a nano second, it would have been precarious to do so! We stopped by this location on our way home yesterday and experienced the most bizarre behavior. Apparently there was an issue inside because the lobby was closed. We did not realize this because the door was not locked. We walked in, placed and order and that is where things went downhill. A young lady came out from the back/drive through window and yelled to the cashier that their lobby was closed. The girl turned and said she knew. We looked at each other in confusion. Made a freeway stop for a blizzard on a hot day. Just wanted a water and a blizzard to cool off. The cashier said that they don't have water cups and then proceeded to charge me for a soft drink (without telling me). When I noticed the charge they stated that water is always charged at a soft drink. ON WHAT PLANET?!? Are you joking? Then my blizzard wasn't even blended well, with chunks of cookies which were still in half. i.e. never got to the blender. Bottom line: Just keep on driving, this place isn't worth the stop. NOT an enjoyable experience. The ice cream was good. The experience was exasperating. The young man taking my order was incredibly confused. I said I wanted a chocolate dipped waffle cone. He questioned, "Do you want a specialty cone?" I told him I didn't know what he meant and pointed to the picture and said it was $2.99. Every step of the 5 item order was painful... The last two items were small vanilla icecreams. He told me he could give mini blizzards or plain sundaes. I told him I just needed something little for toddlers. We were given giant sundae cups for my 2 & 1-year old recipients. I asked for an empty cup to scrape half of their icecream into. I was charged $.50 extra for each of those "small cups." I was also charged for a Blizzard dipped waffle cone- "special" plain, which was also an up charge from the plain vanilla icecream we ordered and received.
