I really wanted to like this Dairy Queen, but a few things added up and left me disappointed. I came in around 5pm, and they were already out of hot fudge and country gravy--two of the main reasons I stopped by in the first place. I was offered regular fudge for my sundae, which was actually pretty good, so props for at least having a backup option. The staff were friendly and polite, but they seemed overworked and visibly stressed. Not necessarily their fault, but it definitely affected the vibe and overall service experience. The dining area was decently clean, which I appreciated, but there were way too many flies buzzing around inside. It made it hard to enjoy my food without constantly swatting them away. I also avoided the restrooms entirely because the door leading in looked grimy and not well-maintained. Just didn't feel comfortable. The food itself tasted good, which is what saved this from being a 1-star review, but all the "little things"--the flies, the missing items, the stressed-out staff, and the questionable restroom area really hurt what could have been a much better visit. read more

While in town today I ordered a sweet treat for my husband and self since it was so hot. Boy not one thing was sweet about this Dairy Queen. My order took forever and when I received it, my milkshake was half empty and my blizzard was just plain vanilla ice cream with five pecans in it. Not the extra toppings I paid for. Not even the blizzard I paid for. I watched the manager of this store cussing at two customers. One asking for a refund after waiting over an hour and not receiving what they paid for. Dairy Queen chicken basket use to be my go to Back in the day. Now it seems I just get heart burn. The toast use to be sliced and toasted just like the commercial. Not this time!! The worst service. Messed up my order and told me too bad and then in order to get my daughters fries was told to pay more money than what the combo price was. Manager said he can't refund and either pay or just take the burger. The cashier was definitely in the wrong and taking the lead of her manager had the same attitude. I definitely don't recommend this place, but if you happen to come definitely be cautious. Never treated so bad. I would give this place a rating of negative 5! read more

this review is a couple hours late but better late than never i just had to express my disappointment. i came in to dairy queen today around 4:18-4:20 for pick up for a customer on door dash. Now they were busy which I totally understand especially more understanding since i work in food industry, so i politely waited until i was spoken to. The lady at the register knocked out the ENTIRE long line and even had a minute to breathe and still nothing was said to me. People were standing around getting their order left and right and not even a simple "what are you waiting for?" or nothing was said to me as if i wasn't standing there too amongst everyone. What really ticked me off is when people who had already gotten there food or were missing something came up and the employees spoke to them and got them whatever they needed;items as simple as a spoon or missing their fry. I tried to speak up at a point since everyone just continued to look at me and look off and i tried telling a lady i had a door dash pick up but she just walked away from me. about 30 minutes of waiting i finally got someones attention and they still had to make the persons order that i was delivering to. Very rude service indeed and if they were wearing name tags I would call ALL of them out. I love dairy queen and I'm new to this part of the city still but now I know I will be traveling all the way back to Raleigh if i EVER want some decent service and ice cream. i refuse to support a business that doesnt even say hello or have the courtesy enough to say "they will be with me shortly" thats just simple customer etiquette, not hard guys. Ordered a combo meal #5, however if they advised that the $6 meal was better, it would have been rated higher. The $6 meals for the 1/3 lb burger is the same on both menus, however nearly $0.75 More as a combo and doesn't include ice cream. When I asked them the difference, they wouldn't change the order, though its the same thing. One would think to offer the sundae, especially since I already paid additional for the meal.. b.but nope .. no help at all. Burger was burnt and over done. They charge you extra for sauces.. Took forever to get food even when it wasn't that busy. Literally waited 25-30 minutes to get my food and then it wasn't even that great.

What an experience! My husband and I order 2 blizzards, cost $8 something. We give cashier a $20, she gives him $2 back. He tells her that it's not right and she is like a deer in headlights and just can't get it right! Then some overweight blonde chick with glasses and a nasty attitude jumps in and tells him not to look at the cashier "like that". First off, we are paying customers and we can look at anyone anyway we please. We told her to mind her business and make the blizzards, so she says she is not going to and then tells us we have to leave and she is not going to give us our money back!!! I told her she is giving us our money or we're not leaving and she points her cheap acrylic nail in my face and says "I'm not talking to you". BIHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH You can only imagine how that turned out. We came in with a smile and dreams of ice cream, but almost left with a charge. Was there on May 19, 2015 in the afternoon. I wanted to use a coupon for a free smoothie. The young lady took the coupon and told me that it expired on the 15th. She asked me if I still wanted the smoothie to which I responded yes. I paid for it and left, but ended up tossing it because she was so nasty, I was afraid to drink it.
