The cake arrives frozen without any decorations. You need to thaw it at room temperature for 5 to 6 hours. The taste is just okay, and my children didn't even finish their slices. My local grocery store sells carrot cakes for a small fraction of the price, and they are baked on premise and sold fresh without freezing. That might be why I prefer the local store version and believe it tastes way better than this one. Daisy Cakes might taste great if bought fresh, but the frozen version is just okay and not worth the high price you pay for it.
