People actually chat with each other and the staff makes friendly talk to all customers. The big plush chairs have massage elements built in. The staff is quick and professional. They offer you tea and coffee and in such a friendly manner! And Mike, the owner, is a gem. He really is excited about his business and loves talking to customers. While my gf's nails were drying, he and I had a good 15 min chat about how he started the business, why he organized it the way he did, etc. At the end, I'm as excited about going there to chat with him as my gf is about getting her nails done. My gel in-fills needed doing (technically what that means is that I wear a gel wrap on my real nail so that it won't break) and I had half an hour to burn. The gel wrap was filed down really well, so that my nails didn't look fake and thick (the kind of effect that you normally get with acrylic wraps or nail extensions) and when I asked them to clip my nails to the length that I wanted to be, they didn't protest and say 'oh no! That's too short!'. Vy Nails also handle manicures, pedicures, semi permanent make-up and body waxing. My in-fills cost £18:00, which is a bit more than I expected to pay (but a lot less than Nails Inc..) and having said that I was very pleased with the service and the end result.
