I love this place for two reasons: excellent manicures/pedicures and great, friendly service. The quality is outstanding and the two manicures and 1 pedicure that I've had so far have been among the best ever. I have had my nails done in many places around the globe, so I have a lot to compare with. I'm also ridiculously picky; I want it to be perfect and I can spot any little thing that isn't (sounds like I'm a wonderful customer, huh? ;). At Oki-Doki Nail Bar I don't need to worry. Anne, who's done my nails so far, has been taken very good care of me: carefully removing old shellac polish without damage, carefully removing cuticles without damage, and painting the coats flawlessly. The pedi was fantastic too. They have really good massage chairs to relax in, and I also got a heavenly foot massage. Mikey, which I'm guessing is the owner, and his team have created a very friendly atmosphere at this salon. I felt like a regular the first time I was there, and have been treated as such every time since - even on the phone when I call to make an appointment. It's personal and friendly and there are jokes and laughter all around - love it! I'm trying to think of something negative to write, but I honestly can't think of anything. Oh! Fantastic every time! This has now become my regular nail place and once you start it's hard to stop since I come out with beautiful nails every time that last 2 weeks with Shellac. It can be pretty busy here so need to book in advance and even then it always seems a bit manic as they are stretched to capacity since it's so popular. Despite this, it always comes out lovely, everyone is friendly and you get a great service. Some nail places I've been, it can be hit and miss and it really depends which member of staff does your nails but here I've only ever had really good people. Came in with my sister this time and although there was a problem with her Shellac the first time they quickly took it off and started again with no extra charge just lots of apologies. They definitely need a bigger space which I think is coming soon anyway. I'll definitely keep coming back! Love it! read more

I am notoriously critical and hard to please but I could not find fault with the Oki-Doki Nailbar. Flawless shellac manicure and pedicure at a competitive price which means you can afford to make it part of your regular beauty regime. The attention to detail is evident. The salon is spotlessly clean - crucially the hygiene of the nail utensils are meticulous - I was reassured to learn each set is sterilised and vacuum packed after every use. The team are professional, friendly and welcoming with a selection of beverages which is a nice touch. I learned that the salon is celebrating it's one year anniversary this weekend and feel sure that if this husband and wife partnership continue to offer the standard of service and nail artistry, at this competitive price they will be celebrating many more successful years in business. read more

I have been to Oki Doki twice now and have been very pleased with their customer service and the quality of my nails both times. The first time I visited Oki Doki with a friend, for her birthday, and they were very kind to fit us both in for a manicure and pedicure on a busy Saturday afternoon. The owners and staff were all very friendly and made us very comfortable by offering us tea and prosecco throughout our treatments. The second time I visited I made sure to make an appointment in advance, and I'm glad I did as the salon was still very busy on a Friday afternoon (around 1pm). I experienced the same great service and a beautiful final result of flawless shellac nails. Overall I would highly recommend this nail salon, but you definitely need to book ahead to avoid disappointment! read more

I would highly recommend this nail bar to everyone. Firstly, it is an incredibly friendly and welcoming environment. The staff are lovely and the owner, Mike, makes everyone feel at home. The quality of then nails are amazing. I usually go for acrylics and I find that the nails don't break or come off easily (which has happened in other salons I've been to). The paint doesn't chip and they stay looking brilliant for a lot longer than I've experienced with other places. The staff are also highly skilled in nail art and creative with idea's if you're ever stuck for any. The price also makes the salon stand out. They're at least half the price of the other salon's I've seen in the Canary Wharf area. I couldn't recommend Oki-Doki more! read more

Totally efficient as much as they can be. Sometimes treatments run over due to problems which are inevitable at times, however, they try their best and go the extra mile. At least you are informed frequently about how long your service will commence and how long it will take sometimes down to the minute. All tools are laboratory sterilised for every treatment to 129 degrees and vacuum packed and opened in front of the client. All pumice used to exfoliate feet are immediately discarded after one use which is the right thing to do. Appointment is definitely needed since they started offering Express Shellac & Gel manicures. Being just a short (4 min hop on DLR) from Canary wharf, uptake has become very strong with the Banking community. I read more

I absolutely love this place. Brought My daughter here for her 7th birthday treat and called in advance the day before based on yelp reviews. We came all the way from South London but would only come here from now on. The commute is worth it.the owner mike is a so very welcoming and sweet and the staff are so professional and friendly. Got the most heavenly foot massage. The pedicure massage chair was a dream too. Mike had the technicians add flowers to my daughter's nails at no extra cost. The whole experience was lovely. We will only be coming here for our manicures and pedicures from now on. Don't hesitate to go and visit Oki doki nail bar. You won't be disappointed. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! And very PAINFUL! £25 for a full set, over priced for the experience I had. My fingers are still throbbing from earlier, and bleeding. She filed the edges, got my skin not the acrylic. Shitty job if you ask me, my nails look HORRIBLE! She seemed bossy and didn't care that I told her it hurts! She said don't be scared look away. -_- Yea one star for the free glass of wine.. And the tip was for a cup of water. (Didn't check yelp before walking in) A day later I get to finish my draft... So after a major mix up and major miscommunication on my end, the boss was still very accommodating and nice. Being my first time here, I had assume that I had to choose between shellac / acrylic for a standard luxury pedicure. When we arrived, man, it's wasn't. Shellac meant shellac, luxury pedi was another thing, oops.. To be fair, I felt really bad and was ready to come back another day and did not expect them to accommodate but they were happy about it. Staff was great and knew how to work around my difficult feet. I had been looking for a GOOD place to get my gel nails done for so long, trying so many places which were expensive and I didn't get what I wanted. When I discoverd oki doki nails the first thing they did was listening to me and try to understand what I was looking for. They made me some suggeations about how to get my nails done and I ended up with a fabolous nails!!!!! Exactly what I told them I wanted!! They are amazing! A part from that, the prices are very good (not expensive at all) and they are very punctuals and fast. I am suuuuper happy with my nails!!! read more

The best Shellac manicure I've had! It's currently been on 4 weeks and no signs of chipping. I find with all other nail bars, it starts to come off at 10-14 days. I don't know what they do differently but it works. I noticed they are also big on cleanliness and hygiene, I was offered my own steralised tools for the manicure and the pedicure I had was done with a new pumice stone which was then thrown away. This nail bar is just right!! Mike and the girls are lovely, welcoming and friendly. I have been taking my mum to this nail bar for little while now (and she can be quite fussy) but she loves it!! This professional team never disappoint!! We get both normal manicures and pedicures and shellac nails which are always fabulous!! I come to this place as they sterilise the equipment properly which is very important to me. The staff does proper job and the prices are reasonable. One issue however is the attitude of the owner. One has to look posh to be treated ok by him. Tea / coffee is only offered to posh looking ones. The way he speak to some people is truly unacceptable and arrogant. He keeps forgetting that every client contributes to his business whether posh looking or not! read more

It was fantastic, I spoke with the manager first off who was so lovely, when I came back I was offered all drinks and a seat, the manicurist was very good and very gentle. A great Nail Salon. Warm and friendly greeting, lovely staff who seem to really enjoy what they do. I had a gel infill which was done to perfection, black nail varnish on top which looks superb. I really liked the fact that they make sure nails are dry before you leave so you dont end up with it wrecked by the time you get home.
