I was wary that the price was too good to be true, but the sales rep assured me that my deposit would be fully refunded if I experienced any lack of support. After persistent follow-up and repeated reassurances from the sales rep, I decided to give them a chance. Once I paid the deposit and signed the contract, communication completely stopped. I could not reach my sales rep, or anyone else at the company, over the following weeks to answer basic questions, including confirming a date for my move, which was quickly approaching. Despite their failure to return my calls or contact me to confirm logistics, my credit card company was unable to reimburse me because the contract is written to protect their business and does not clearly address communication requirements. After weeks of no response from SafeShip, I was forced to book another moving company, and I am now pursuing recovery of my deposit through small claims court. When I investigated their business after the fact, I found a large number of similar complaints, including reports filed with the BBB. I strongly recommend reviewing customer feedback across platforms before considering SafeShip, as they have a well-documented history of scamming customers.
