I was very pleased with how smooth the scheduling process went and how accommodating they were with my busy work schedule. I was seen by two providers (let's say provider 1 and provider 2 for privacy purposes). Provider 1 was very helpful by discovering a baseline and developing a course of action to strengthen some of the weaker aspects of my body. Provider 1 communicated with me that they were going to be out of town for 2 weeks. They also recommended that I were to be seen 2x a week for 4 weeks. So a different provider was assigned to me in their absence. A couple of days later provider 2 saw me for the first time and we discussed my history again. As soon as they were finished doing a basic adjustment with me they mentioned they typically spend their first appointment with a patient discussing history to later develop a plan. Do providers not refer to prior patient notes at all? Wouldn't have provided 1 laid out a game plan for provider 2 to pick up at? They proceeded to tell me that they would continue to address my concerns at the next appointment. Forget about it. My job only covers 12 appointments a year and I was finished with wasting my time. Major logistical issues. Why would provider 1 be assigned to me if they knew they were going to be gone? That ruins the streamline for continuity. Provider 2 didn't seem to even mention any of my concerns and when it comes to my health and wellbeing I would rather spend time elsewhere.

When I found myself in need of chiropractic care, I was elated to find a local NUCCA doctor. I used to think chiropractic care was all about being twisted, cracked, and popped. When someone first referred me to NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association), I was initially disappointed to find that they don't do things that way. I spent 20 years doing various areas of medicine, even orthopedics. Not thinking that there is more to ortho when it comes to skeletal problems. Chiropractic medicine was introduced to me after I got older and started having problems with my back that a routine medication cannot resolve. I first went to Barkley Chiropractic and met Dr. Arnold who adjusted my back and made it feel so much better without the use of medication. Unfortunately I developed a condition where I had to stop going to him. After three long years my condition got better and I can again get a chiropractic adjustments. Barkley Chiropractic had moved to a new location and now called New Life with the same great staff but with more advanced equipments and a larger space. The treatments has even improved since Dr Arnold now has an assistant that is aspiring to become a full pledge chiropractor. All in all, am very happy that I'm back seeing them again.
