Here is my experience with them. 1) Portrait Bouquet. Simple task, right? Not for Bows & Arrows. Alicia must have forgotten to make it, because when I went to pick it up, it was not ready and she ran to the back, used last weeks flowers, and put something together in the wrong shades of pink, and NONE of the flowers I ordered were in there. Not to mention the flowers were wilted and dead. My wedding planner spoke with Alicia about her poor work and said that we would not be paying her until she performed to high standards at the actual wedding. 3 days before the wedding, she calls and says she has no flowers for our wedding and will not be doing it because she has not received payment. After much arguing with her, we payed her reluctantly and she promised to provide for us on the wedding day. 2)Wedding Day: First of all, I CRIED when I saw my bouquet. It was that horrible. The flowers were dead, wilted, and all wrong from what I had ordered. As I was taking pre-wedding pictures, myself and all my bridesmaids were having to rip flowers out of our bouquet because they were wilting and falling over. I was mortified that my dear friends had such pathetic flowers. Not to mention the bouquets were TINY and therefore even smaller once they started ripping out flowers. The alter arrangements were horribly lopsided as well. Ruined all my pictures.... I will say, her petals lining my aisle were outstanding. So was every arrangement at the reception. I gave her some credit for that. 3) Post-Wedding: Sent Alicia an email explaining my disappointment and hoped for reimbursement. I heard from someone in her office saying it was best if they never speak with me or my family again. HORRIBLE customer service. We are continuing to try... Needless to say, DO NOT USE HER! What sets Ketan Uncle apart from many other decorators is that he, as the owner, showed up to multiple events to make sure things were handled perfectly. He made me feel like his daughter through this entire planning process. He puts so much of his heart and soul into each decor backdrop, that the entire venue looks covered in love. In addition to helping with smaller family functions at home (i.e. birthday parties, poojas, etc), Ketan Uncle did all of the decor for my wedding. He met with us often the year leading up to events to make sure each one had a unique look and was better than the last. My breath was taken away by how beautiful our first event was. What astounded me the most was that each subsequent event was even more beautiful than the previous one. No matter how avante guarde I made a theme, Ketan uncle could not disappoint. Ketan Uncle, can you make me a Bridgerton Bridal shower? "No problem beta." Ketan Uncle, my fiancé proposed to me in central park. Can you make that my Sangeet theme? "Yes of course - I already have a custom gate decorated for you." Even when I came up with a "Maharaja Speakeasy (i.e. Indian Great Gatsby) theme for my reception, everyone else looked at me like I had 10 heads. Ketan Uncle's response was "Don't worry - I can handle it. Just send me a picture or two." YES, Ketan Uncle is the glue that held my wedding week together. In addition to the decor for the main functions, we had also asked for my room to be decorated for the day of the wedding. Ketan uncle already planned a beautiful backdrop. However, he only found out at midnight (the night before my wedding), it would not be able to make it through the hotel elevators. He stayed up the entire night between my Sangeet and Wedding day to craft a new backdrop and also to make sure that my wedding day felt like a fairytale. What I really loved about Ketan Uncle was that he didn't simply agree to any request I asked for. He truly listened to my vision and came up with better suggestions to make everything pop even more. For example, I wanted my Haldi to be Mediterranean/Santorini/Greek themed with lots of White and Blue. I was sure I had to have blue flowers. Ketan uncle nicely hinted that blue flowers might look fake/tacky (even if they were high quality), because these are usually dyed. He gently suggested using whites, creams, and yellows to keep with my theme, but have a much more polished look. I give this as just one example. However, there were dozens of suggestions that Ketan Uncle brought up that were invaluable. I just wish I had the vocabulary to describe what a great job he did. The decor was simply ineffable. I'm very particular about certain things, so I never wanted to feel like I was coerced into making certain decisions about the wedding. She was definitely the only planner I talked to who I felt would give me solid guidance without being overbearing. I hired her for month-of wedding planning services, which primarily involved pulling together all the vendors right before the wedding and coordinating everything on the day of the wedding. However, that did not stop Robyne from going above and beyond. Right when I signed our contract, she immediately started helping me with some vendor suggestions and even offered to come to some of the meetings with me (and this was over a year in advance!). A handful of our vendors came from her suggestions list, and they were all amazing. Also, Robyne checked in on us every couple of months during our planning process, making sure we were on schedule with everything. I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my chest because I knew I could trust her to guide me through the process! Finally, on the day of our wedding, Robyne was the best. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing! She brought two other people with her (including her husband Jeremy, who also happened to be our DJ) to help out, and they definitely had all bases covered. All of our guests and bridesmaids were really impressed with how smoothly (and on time) everything went. She managed to resolve some major issues (like our photobooth showing up 1.5 hours late) without worrying us. Robyne paid attention to every little detail and even helped me fix my dress after one of the bustles broke! Cliff Notes Version of MY wedding on 3/7/2020 *Kerrie sent…read morethe wrong arrangements. *Kerrie failed to set my head table first as she agreed. *Kerrie stopped responding to my emails after she was made aware I was unhappy with the arrangements. *She just disappeared without resolution. . I was excited about the horizontal church and guest table arrangements we contracted for, as I did not want any traditional arrangements. As soon as I walked down the aisle to my horror they were just as round as they could be. My planner reached out to her beginning with my bouquet. Kerrie told my planner she would contact me within a few days, but I wound up having to reach out her after not hearing from her for a week. I emailed Kerrie and listed my disappointments only to receive an email back stating she did nothing wrong. I responded with an email that contained photos comparing the contract photo to what she delivered and she has yet to respond. She went ghost which is rude, unprofessional, and unprecedented. So two weeks after my wedding I am left to write a review She tried to justify the failure by stating "they were wider than they were tall and flared at the bottom so that makes them horizontal." I'll post my contract photo next to what arrived and you be the judge. The next major issue was that I emailed Kerrie about making sure my head table was preset and the arrangements from the church be moved to guest tables. She assured me that my head table arrangements would be pre-set. I rushed through the photos at the church to get to the reception venue so my husband and I could take photos in the room while the guests were still enjoying cocktail hour. To my dismay I walk in to view a head table with no large arrangements. She did the exact opposite of what was asked and what she told me. This is so bad guys, that my photographer sent detail photos over, and in them are photos of empty stands on the head table even though I made it clear that that was the priority and she agreed to it. I've included photos of that as well. Then Kerrie made a point to write "I do know that your friends and family loved the flowers and took them all home at the end of the night, so hopefully that gives you some peace." Quite frankly that was beside the point. I, the client, didn't like them because it wasn't what I asked for or expected Kerrie. With the exception of A Stylish Soirée I was blessed with 12 wonderful vendors. I was told things would happen and they did, but the other two vendors reached out to me apologetically and made things right without me asking. As a result I've only had to write one bad review. The irony in this is that during the final payment stage she sent me the contract to sign and the bill was lower than it should have been. I made a point to correct the errors in excel, recalculate the higher amount, and made her aware that her system didn't calculate the balance due properly. Who would have thought I would be the one getting stiffed! Lol
