I spoke with a fabulous associate (whose name is slipping my mind!) who was patient and knowledgeable. She explained some of the basics to me and made sure to tell me about the Brizo and Cambria lines that they carry (both of which I really like). At the time, I had very little to compare to this experience, but now that I've visited the competition down the road and the remodel expo this past weekend, I can't wait to head back to Robertson and make my first consultation appointment.

In literally minutes, Rich e-mailed me an even better quote and said the installler could come measure Monday (this was Thursday, the other place said 3 weeks). After measuring, the countertop was manufactured and installed less than 2 weeks later. Rich was so nice and a joy to work with. LOVE the countertop! Will return to Robertsons when we do our master bath.

The initial consultation was a positive experience -- the representative who came to measure the…read morecarpet and LVP areas was professional and thorough. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. The installation itself was riddled with problems. The crew did not complete the job on the scheduled day, and no one from RiteRug proactively informed us of this. We had to reach out ourselves to point out that an entire room had been left completely untouched. Trim work throughout the home was also left unfinished. Once the installation was "complete," the quality issues became apparent. Carpet in every room where it was installed began coming up within a single day. The LVP trim work was done so poorly that we ultimately had to scrap it entirely and have it redone. After reporting these issues, RiteRug scheduled a follow-up visit four days later to address everything. The crew only finished the LVP in the room they'd originally skipped -- none of the other outstanding issues were resolved. We then contacted our original point of contact, the same person who had measured our home initially. To his credit, he acknowledged directly that the job had been done "horribly." He offered $300 in compensation on a job that cost nearly $2,800. When we pushed back and asked for more, he escalated to his manager -- but in doing so, misrepresented the situation, telling his manager that only one small area had issues rather than the full scope of problems we'd documented. The entire resolution process dragged on for about a week, and we ultimately received a discount of roughly 37%. That amount was still less than half of what it actually cost us out of pocket to have the floors properly redone by another company. We hire flooring contractors regularly throughout the year for various projects, and RiteRug was by far the worst experience we've had -- not just in terms of installation quality, but in how the aftermath was handled. Between the incomplete work, the poor craftsmanship, and the lack of transparency in resolving it, we would not recommend RiteRug for any flooring project.

Mindy was our designer and she and everyone we worked with at CW(you will be working with a LOT of different people throughout your project) were terrific. Our 25 year old kitchen was transformed into such a beautiful and modern space. Mindy really knows her stuff and will help you along the way with your plan. The installers were really top notch, were so precise and exacting with every measurement and they truly took pride in their craft. The trim work is beautiful. And they were really easy to be around which is important since you will be together for a couple weeks. Everyone who was in the house--cabinet installers, the plumber, the paint and plaster guys, the electrician--was really, really nice. There is so much to coordinate with the timing of a project like this and all the people who work behind the scenes like Bert, Dave and Bernie were extremely quick to respond to all of my calls and texts. We are so thrilled with the results.

We have had countless materials ordered incorrectly, many products were given to us damaged. We had to order some of our cabinets up to three times and still had to settle for damaged product. We were forced to use skins in order to cover up the damage. That was the best solution they would give us. I took a picture of a panel covered refrigerator that I loved to this company. I told them I wanted the design to be focused around the refrigerator. They assured me they could do it with no problem. Almost 2 years later I still don't have a refrigerator and they are now telling me that panel covered refrigerators are not their forte and they're having trouble getting it right. They held our remaining products and refused to release them to us until they were completely paid in full. After paying them in full and them assuring us the products were 100% correct I discovered that they were ordered wrong yet again. They assured me it would be a quick turnaround on getting the products reordered. I have been waiting 4 months and I still don't have my final products. This is the worst experience for a remodel that I have ever had to encounter and I have done a lot of remodeling. Please save your money and go elsewhere. The communication was terrible. They ordered products for us that didn't even match our kitchen design without ever asking us if it's what we wanted. Then they hassled us about returning it like it was our fault. They refused to give us pricing for items that we had to return. We just had to trust that they were giving us the correct number. We paid $1,100 a piece for four wine cubbies. They were built so horribly Ikea would put them to shame. The owner of the design center even admitted they were built terribly. They refuse to give us a full credit for the merchandise. After much arguing back and forth we ended up getting a total of $1000 credited back to us. We lost $3300 and nobody would do anything about it. We have been repeatedly expected to keep subpar merchandise without refund, because they said once we ordered something we are obligated to keep it. Going out of business is too good for this company. Please save your aggregation and your money and go somewhere else.

But just like the other person who rated.. STAY AWAY from contractor L.A. Bruder. He uses non-skilled labor which resulted many issues with plumbing, tile work and even demo.
