The check in was great, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. We were assigned a side ocean view room with a balcony. The room was clean, new looking, functional, and comfortable. The drinks (water, beer, and soft drinks) in the refrigerator were also included. We also soon later discovered the HOUSEKEEPING was top notch. Regarding the food, it was excellent. We enjoyed all of the meals and robust buffet options. The food service staff was impeccable especially HAYRETTIN, who also provided service at the pool bar. For lunch, one of our servers was YIGIT. He also did a fantastic job for us. Speaking of the pool areas, they were spotless. The pools themselves were clean and refreshing. We didn't have any issues getting chairs. The pool/yoga/fitness activity staff member, OGZI, was great. She did a fabulous job getting people to participate in yoga and pool based fitness activities. We also appreciated the proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Sundia also offered diverse nightly entertainment that we enjoyed. The concert area was large, organized, with table drink service was available. The servers worked very hard each night. Regarding check out, it was smooth, and the staff was helpful with weighing luggage and calling a taxi for us. My only recommendations would be to move the towel area from the spa to the pool area. It's a little inconvenient to walk through the building and into the spa wet to change out towels. In addition, it would be nice if a basic bar could be placed on the beach, if allowed by local law. In closing, we had a fantastic time at Sundia, and I highly recommend it!

As a beach holiday resort, Olu has everything you could wish for. Wonderful beach, crystal clear…read morewaters and a very friendly atmosphere. If you are booking a hotel, I advise B&B as you would miss out on the fantastic restaurants and bars around the area. Olu caters for all age groups. As an oldie I was impressed with the secluded restaurants sprinkled around but, if I were younger, there were the exciting bars designed for the younger clientele. Olu is small by comparison to other resorts, you can reach everything on foot within 20 minutes. Most of the area is traffic free which makes for wandering so much easier. During the day, when walking on the sea front, keep your eyes peeled for the paragliders landing. If you hear a shout from above, duck down LOL. Should you want to travel outside then the transport service (dolmus) is second to none, cheap and frequent with helpful drivers should you need help. I loved the place. Having visited some 10 years ago it was good to see that the area hadn't changed in any way. We will be back.

Whereas they usually go out for the full day, they were going to the Blue Cave and Butterfly Valley from 2-5pm when I was there. Chill vibe and music and good COVID protocols. I recommend booking tickets directly with them in front of the boat rather than through an agent.

The evening before, we met a couple in a restaurant who put us onto Captain Tommy and his boat Deniz Bey. We had noticed that all the boats were crowded and were looking for a smaller craft with fewer people. The next day we walked down the beach to the boat to see if we could book directly. No problem, the guy we spoke to was very helpful and we booked for the next day. As requested we were there at 10 am. A few years back the same thing happened when booking another boat and we didn't leave until 11.30. Captain Tommy is different. At 10.10 a big guy, in whites, came strolling down the beach in a very theatrical manner. Boarded his boat and at 10.20 we were off. The fun started from there. A very professional, but friendly, crew. 20 passengers, therefore plenty of room on board. Loads of stops on the way for swimming with no rush. Great BBQ food with a choice of trout or chicken and loads of various salads. Drinks were available, at reasonable prices. Snorkels, masks, swimming rings etc all available at NO extra charge. A little more expensive than the other guys but worth every lira. I would advise anyone to check Captain Tommy out when visiting Olu Deniz. Thanks to him and his great crew for a really great day out. Be seeing you again on our next visit.

Our dinner was delicious and the price was right. The room, on the side of the hotel, was modern and cool looking but rather small. Take a harbour view room if you can afford it as you will have a lovely balcony and a wonderful view. The pool area was an oasis but the water was freezing...perhaps too early in the season for swimming in spite of the 32C weather.

It IS pricy during the summer, you just can't get around that because it is one of the best hotels in town with beautiful views. During the summer, their pool is lovely, it's got a water slide and a river that flows in a circle so you can hop on a raft and coast down the little river. My kid spent entire days, from morning till evening, in the pool rather than swimming in the ocean, which is just steps beyond the pool. There's also a kiddie pool for the little ones who can't swim. On the beach, they have comfortable beach chairs and you are given a Grand Azur towel so they know you're a hotel guest...non-hotel guests aren't allowed on the beach so it doesn't normally get overly packed, which is really nice. Start your day out by eating at their massive breakfast buffet, which is free with paid room. They have everything from warm dishes (eggs, sausage, oatmeal) to a variety of fruits and veggies, at least 6 different types of olives, assortment of cheeses and cold cuts, breads, pastries, and sweets and the always desired honeycomb...our favorite. They've got a nice beach cafe that serves tasty lunch options or you can take a walk down the boardwalk and there are a variety of beachfront restaurants to eat lunch or dinner. They also serve a reasonably priced dinner buffet that you can purchase with your room or eat at the Steak Restaurant on the 5th floor, they do a delicious steak! They have a really nice spa where you can get massages, facials, etc. and it's a full service spa with sauna and an indoor pool and changing rooms with lockers and showers. They have very comfortable beds and the rooms are spacious, bathrooms are lovely. I have to say, I've done my fair share of traveling, and it is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. No hair in the beds, no hair in the showers or on the bathroom floor. Really well done! I recently stayed at GA during the winter when my mother became ill. They gave me a great discount on a suite that included breakfast and dinner (came to about $100/night) and considering I literally lived there for 2 weeks, it was wonderful not to have to make food or clean up after myself after having to drive back and forth several times a day to the hospital. The staff were so courteous and friendly and were so supportive during this very difficult time. They often let me take my dinner or breakfast to my room when I wasn't feeling up to being surrounded by people. On days I ate at the restaurant, it was served in the Steak Restaurant and the view was spectacular. It was lovely to eat dinner there, the meals were delicious, particularly their beef kabob...divine! They often had entertainment like a pianist or singing duo. Their breakfast buffet was pretty much on par as the ones served downstairs, you could have the chef cook up omelets or other egg options. I had a rental car and there was free parking during the winter. I ended up having a massage and I have to say, that was the only thing that wasn't perfect. The masseuse massaged like she needed to get it over with quickly. She was very aggressive, not deep but fast. I kept asking her to slow down, but she couldn't get the hang of it. I like a nice, slow, relaxing massage but it was just so fast and jerky...not relaxing at all. So make sure you are VERY clear about what you want. I think they're used to the giving hamams (Turkish baths) and for that you scrub vigorously. Speaking of which, I haven't had one here but I've heard it's very good. Their concierges are super helpful, you can get your laundry sent out, they'll help set up tours, pretty much whatever you need, they'll direct you. Oh, and their wifi was really good during this trip. When I went during the summer a few years ago, you couldn't get it in the room--only the lobby but I was able to get it in the room during this trip. However, it might be because it wasn't overly busy and a lot of people weren't using it, hard to say. They have satellite tv, about 7 english channels, a number of Dutch channels, and a variety of other foreign language channels. Rooms have refrigerators, coffee makers, hair dryers. I highly advise getting an ocean view or partial ocean view room and be sure to ask not to have a room that overlooks the hotels on either side of the hotel (if you have to get a non-ocean view room, ask for one that looks out of the front of the hotel). The rooms that overlook neighboring hotels can be noisy from the neighboring hotels. And if you get a room that overlooks the ocean, try to get one on the upper floors in the middle, west side, or along the outer circular part...they have the best view, although you don't get much of a choice in a suite, they're only located in specific spots. And be sure to tip! They deserve it!

It is a holiday village with loads of facilities that it shares with its sister hotel The Perla next door. You can do everything from tennis, aerobics, pool games, water sports etc. There is a good kids club which my children loved, the entertainment staff in Turkey always seem to be much better than in places like Spain and the Canaries' The rooms were spacious, we had all four of us in one room and it was ok. Most tour operators go here half board but you can purchase all inclusive option if you want which we did and found to be worth it. That said the bars and restaurants that are within easy walking distance were all very reasonably priced. One last thing, have a Turkish bath when you get there it is an experience not to be missed!
