I blame myself ( and so did the owner incidentally) for not checking it closely before the wedding day; it needed the collar either starching and pressing or stitching so that it sat correctly, as it was it was uneven and looked awful. I returned the item after the wedding feeling very upset and let down. Sadly the owner didn't bother to contact the manufacturer about the fault (which was clear on all of the photos), nor would she admit that anything was wrong with the jacket, although everyone else could see that t clearly was faulty and in fact, quite poor quality for £70. When I later re tried the jacket (which I left with her after my complaint) it miraculously appeared to have had the fault partly corrected, although this was denied. I didn't even want my money back (and I haven't got it, as I preferred to keep the item and contact the manufacturer myself). I would have preferred that the owner had shown some honesty and integrity. To be fair, the owner was pleasant when we initially visited the shop and made myself and my friends feel welcome; but poor quality goods and in our opinion, an uncaring and dishonest approach was a very upsetting experience in the end. When I pointed out that I had not yet written a review she actually pointed at me and accused me of threatening her; I left the shop with no refund and a jacket which appeared to have been tampered with. I like to come in here to buy ties for my dad oh and cuff links!! The staff are always very nice in here and if you don't really know what to buy they will help you decide. But don't get me wrong they're not pushy with you. It doesn't get very busy in here your lucky to see two customers in at a time. I don't know why this is because all the clothes in here are very well priced.

The ground floor was actually pretty organized this go round but it's really hard to find an employee to assist. One issue is possible because the employees look just like a regular shopper so you are unsure who to ask except the cash register individuals. The escalator going to the second floor was broken, so you will have to walk unless you can get on their elevator. On the second floor they also have self checkout and exchange and return registers. When I was asking an employee a question that was at the exchange/return counter, she was really on edge which I am unsure why. She finally just dismissed me and told me to go to another counter to check out since the self checkout machines cause so many issues. All I needed was an employee code to proceed with taking the locks off. Went up to floor three and the cash register employee that assisted me was so sweet and helpful! Normally I love Zara's for odd and end pieces but this one could work on customer service and working with finding a way to help the layout more shopper friendly.

Most of their stock is workwear and well, clothes that your mother would wear. Long skirts, tailored jackets - that kind of look. But when they have their sales, do rummage. Particulary their block colour cashmere V necks and 'sweaters' - isn''t that what they call cashmere jumpers in the fashion pages? Plus for just £10 I got an amazing wool plaid scarf that I wore all winter long last year with no fraying whatsoever. And this is yours truly who accidently ruins even the highest quality clothes somehow. The ladieswear is on the lower floor, with the menswear on the ground floor as you come in. The staff are friendly, possibly too friendly. Maybe they have high targets that they are not meeting because it always seems fairly quiet.
