Basically, it's small but thoughtful. They cover a range of price points, but they don't have mainstream over-advertised hangovers in a bottle. The owner, Simon, is often in the store and knows his stuff. He's always available for a chat and to dish some advice but isn't a vino snob. Most pleasantly of all, Seddon Wine Store now has an itty bitty wine bar located inside. Just a few tables, but goodness knows they have a great wine list to choose from, and some fabulous little things to munch on (think wagyu salami and nuts and whatnot). My partner and I have been coming here for over a year now and have a wine club membership. Every now and then we'll get a call about when the cellar is having wine tasting nights or other special events. The owner is very helpful and always friendly, he loves having a chat about pretty much anything and has helped us on more than one occasion with picking out a bottle for a special occasion. Belmore Fine Wines also stocks local and imported beer, as well as a pretty good range of spirits, however it is wine that is the focus here. Boccaccio, both for the cellars and it's supermarket are absolute first rate when it comes to qaulity shopping with extensive and well sought range and breadth of fresh groceries of every kind. Here you will find a great selection of craft beer and wines from the region plus some usual suspects from abroad and a good mix of all the styles is usually in stock. I did find some good surprises like Napoleon from up north which is rarely found in the inner city and a few other lesser known goodies. The staff is friendly and non-pushy which I find delightful and the prices are pretty good. The store itself is warm and inviting from the moment the bell tinkles above the door to signal your arrival. There is a great range of products on offer including: fruit, chocolate, lollies, ice-creams, magazines, confectionary, milk, cake, cigarettes, bus tickets, phone credit and my personal favourite - Willy Wonka Nerds. If you are a regular customer here you won't get called by name but you will get special privileges. The amount of times I race down there to find that I'm ten cents short or my eftpos card declines have piled up in a corner where I store all my embarrassing moments. Fortunately, the owner of this Mini Mart is super nice when this happens. She pulls out a notepad and takes down your name and phone number before writing down how much you owe. Let her know when you will be down next and she'll pop in a date of expected payment too. Be nice and try to pay her quickly. Anyway, since I tend to jump off the train at North Richmond every so often for a drink at either the Avairy of the Vic, I'll stop by here every so often to grab some take-away. This is a pretty crowded little shop, though their selection of beers are pretty good, and the even carry those really cool pint sized bottles off Little Creatures, which is something that I look for in a good bottle shop, since as one person said they are the perfect size for a take-away beer.

I ended up being in there for a good twenty minutes and i didn't even notice the time go by. The store doesn't get too busy as Studfield Shopping Centre - where it is located- is never overflowing with people. The food here is good and the prices rock. I got a delicious sweet chilli scone for just $1 and it was fairly big too. Happiness is definitely a good word to describe my feelings towards this Brumby's. It is just a winner on all counts. The store is clean and smells like warm bread. They always have a taster plate - very, very important detail, and all the staff are warm and friendly.
