I used them to water blast and clean the outside of the house and they arrived on time and did a great job. They do all types of water blasting, moss control, gutter cleaning, fence cleaning, concrete cleaning. All those types of jobs that are often best left to the experts. My aversion to manual labour started at an early age, I realised that I don't like hard work. Work of the sweaty work kind, not the stuff writers, TV directors or marketing people call work. Work that low income people do where you use muscles and sweat. Think mining, tree chopping, building and basically anything where you need a white Hiace Toyota van. This doesn't mean I don't do it, I just don't like doing it, and I'm seldom prepared for the job at hand. You just can't do handy man work with a MAC and iPhone in tow. So, when I needed to sand down an old chest, the option of using my hands was out of the question. I knew of North Harbour Hire, so I stopped there after work to get a sander, and they were more than helpful. They even told me how to use it (Wonder if the little croc on my shirt was an indication that I wouldn't know what to do?) and it was much cheaper than buying my own.

The other day I found myself staring at the blue screen of death, and no matter how many times I switched my computer on and off, nothing happened. Zip, zero, Nothing; not even an indication of hope. I thought to myself (And the neighbours), WTF, all my stuff, documents and photos everything, gone!
