I booked an end of lease clean expecting a professional standard, particularly given the name. Unfortunately, a number of basic items on the checklist were not completed, including floors, skirting boards and wall spot cleaning. The overall finish was well below what would reasonably be expected for this type of service. I checked in with the cleaners several times while they were on site, and at one point one of them appeared more focused on phone conversations than the work itself. Despite raising concerns during the clean, I still ended up redoing a significant portion of the job myself. The follow up response was also disappointing. Rather than addressing the quality of the work, the focus was on a 72 hour notification window, and the proposed resolution was a voucher, which is not appropriate given the circumstances. Overall, not the level of service I expected, and not one I would use again. Very Unprofessional. (not even sure they deserve 1 star)

I booked a carpet clean for a quoted $170 to exit a tenancy, and when they arrived they called to ask if would like to pay another $150 on top of that for an extra stain removal service. I did not want to but they couldn't take no for an answer. I was shocked at how they wouldn't back down at the simple request not to go ahead with extra service and then hey were using bullying tactics to try get me to go along with it. Asking if I was calling them liars?! No ! I just dont want the extra service thankyou! Long story short they did the full service even though I'd been very clear I did not want any extras and then told me that the letting agent had told them to go ahead and take it off my bond. I called the agent and she said she had not she had simply told them to call me to discuss. They were talking over me on the phone, and sayings things like 'I don't think you're an honest person amy' and accusing Me of accusing them of lying. A very very upsetting and disturbing experience. Go green carpet cleaners are bully's and have hidden costs. Really really aweful. I will be very unsurprised if they try to further twist my words in response if they find this review. One of the most disconcerting experiences of my life. I'm shocked and amazed at how they went about it and he disrespectful way they dealt with me. Please do not use this company.

For the call out..... because I did not pay $311 plus GST for a small 2 brm unit did a very poor job. It's my fault for not over paying him. Guy came to my house stood in my lounge and was not going to leave until I payed a call out fee. I was going to call the police. Be warned once at your house and faced with a very, very high quote you owe him $210 plus GST to leave or he does a very poor job.

The pricing model is a bit odd at first, but it works really well as you only get the parts of your house cleaned that you want. When they come and do the quote they charge you per room - $X per bedrom, $X for the kitchen, $X for dusting etc etc. So we didn't get any bedrooms or dusting as the house is relatively new which keeps the costs down. Fantastic idea. They use all their own products, and the cleaners are excellent. Good attention to detail, consistent cleaning and happy to be flexible and do extra cleaning if requested or to swap cleaning one thing for the other (without a price change). Really reliable, cost effective, professional and an excellent cleaning service (of course). Highly recommend!

According to them it usually takes one day for the funds to appear in their account, so let's say nine days before clean. There was no further communication from Hire a Maid so I naturally assumed that the cleaning slot was confirmed. However, no one turned up on the day. I rang, I emailed. No response (it was a Sunday). On Monday following I received an email saying that the cleaners had not been booked in as they had not received a screenshot of the payment. What the heck? They had received the payment! So clearly the payment sat in their account for about nine days but that was not sufficient to confirm the job, nor did they think to ring or email me to confirm it. I have since received a full refund but sadly, no apology. Will not make this mistake again.
