Not only did he help with steps, but he put in the work to actually help choreograph a number. Like a full-on dance, plus he orchestrated a beautiful experience for our family. He was kind, funny, and extremely collaborative to ensure Daddy and Daughter were confident and having fun. Two days before the event, I reached out and asked if he could help me (Mom) learn a simple step so that we could also have a moment with a dance as well. Wow! I have no exact words to express how happy and grateful I was that he fit me into his very busy schedule so that I, too could have my own moment with our daughter. When I say that I'm beyond grateful, it doesn't fully describe the superb experience we had at Arosa Balleoom and the most enjoyable time with a fantastic dance instructor. He is passionate about his craft and just a lovely person. We'll be forever grateful and kind of hooked. Maybe we will continue with instruction, because we may have to catch up to my colleague, who is not a bronze-level dancer! The studio is located in a great spot and has plenty of parking too. I felt compelled to write this review in the time of coronavirus- even with Zoom lessons, Caitlin manages to keep the girls engaged and learning. The classes are very well structured, and appropriately challenging. Truthfully, I was originally a bit hesitant about going here because the website makes it look a bit intense for little kids, but it is awesome, and my daughter loves it. Note- the studio is down a hallway with a gym called "Iron Vault." You can easily drive past several times without seeing it, and the parking can be tight in front of the studio, there is usually plenty of parking on Garth Road though and it's a 2 second walk.

The Acro class is literally girls doing forward rolls, ridiculous! In addition, the studio director is extremely disorganized and lacks communication with parents. There are constant hidden fees for everything. For example: there is a registration fee every semester, not for the year as other studios do... mandatory leotards are to be ordered and worn to class, $30 each. They arrived when the season was OVER...4 months to receive them, unacceptable. Additionally, from the moment you open the downstairs door to enter the studio, the stench is overwhelming. The bathrooms are ALWAYS filthy, floors are clearly never cleaned or moped whether it be in the studio or waiting room. There are NO DOORKNOBS OR HANDLES to open the doors to the studio dance rooms, a child's hand is caught almost every single time I am there. Their excuse is the doors are old and they have not been able to find a doorknob that fits It's a miracle no one has shut this place down. There are tons of other dance schools for your child to go to, that follow the ABT curriculum, have experienced teachers that show up on time and a director who cares and takes pride in their facilities presentation and cleanliness and teachings. Do your research and take a tour in person before joining this sub par at best dance school. Very disappointing!

Alexis, I have been accepted into the summer programs of Washington School of Ballet and Ballet West Academy; I have attended the summer intensives of notable schools such as Paris Opera Ballet School, Bolshoi Ballet Academy NYC, School of American Ballet Theatre, and Juilliard Dance -- where I was allocated at the highest levels. Despite the pleasant memories and the lovely acquaintances I made in these programs, I will always return to Ballet des Amériques as it is because of this school -- along with the faculty and staff, that has made so much possible for me. In Ballet des Amériques, every teacher is attentive and caring towards every single student. There is no tolerance towards negativity including gossip, bullying, rumors, and favoritism.
