It is quite apparent this gym is more tailored to those wanting to build muscle and in my time there today, the gym was dominated by men pumping their guns. Slightly intimidating, yes, but not at all off putting. There is plenty of equipment, especially weight machines. This takes up the majority of the gym. Personally I'm a fan of exercising using free weights and found this was quite limited. There is a good amount of cardio equipment available and a small cool down area in the back corner. The cost of membership seems decent and it's a 24/7 gym for members. Staffed hours are from 10am if you're casual. Overall a decent experience but this place needs air-conditioning and more staff on the ground. It was almost like it was expected you're just supposed to know what to do and if you're like me in a new gym it's daunting. I would recommend asking for a full tour if you plan on working out here and if you don't ask, you will be left to your own devices. Also, casual rates are way cheaper than the other gyms in the area so great if you plan to drop in on an ad hoc basis.

Staff also train and it is noticeable that they love what they do and are all happy to be there which has a huge impact on everything. When you sign up you'll get a gym tour and a program with a program run through so you know what to do when you start. Also, all the technology is modern so the touch screens on the cardio machines are really easy to navigate too. The gym itself has been recently renovated and all the equipment is new, smooth to use and shiny. The space smells and feels fresh every time and all the rooms and equipment are really clean and all areas well ventilated. There are pin-loaded machines, free weights, and a range of some of the latest cardio machines. This gym has something for everyone and is really well priced, especially for a 24/7 gym that can be used nationally. The reason I have put 4 stars, not 5 is because I really like group exercises classes and they don't have many here. Overall, the gym is great, not too big, not too small and has everything you need. Kind and motivated staff and on the whole, a good vibe. Happy to be a member here.

They…read morecater for the big boys and fit girls, and is in a good exposed position on the Princes Highway. What brings this place down are the members. The clientele are made up of shady characters, and wannabe tough guys hoping to get noticed by the formerly mentioned (Due to the business's links to certain groups. An internet search will shed more light on this). Don't get me wrong, not all the members are like that, but a lot are. If you go there, mind your own business and train hard, there should be no problem. As previously mentioned, it has excellent and up-to-date equipment. They also have good deals and promotions and some nice looking ladies (but you shouldn't be going to the gym for that). Would I go here again? Probably not, as would prefer going to a more "wholesome" place. Would recommend Freeway Sports across the road or Doherty's Gym in nearby Dandenong over this. I do not like the history or clientele of this place, but the Hammer Strength equipment brings it up to 3 stars.
