Thank you to my phlebotomist who I gave a hard time because of my tiny and moving veins, but she still managed to make me smile, despite we had to do the venipuncture twice. Now problem is the exams they did on me were very redundant and unnecessary. I asked to get my hand checked and instead they put additional test which I am now supposed to pay. My previous doctor at the south gate community health center was absolutely garbage! She did not listen to my concerns what so ever and would often ignore me or play down any situation I would bring up to her and I would take hours to even see her even with an appointment! She would force me to make an appointment to get access to my diabetes medication and with all the issues I had I ended up going to the ER and Urgent care multiple times just to get refills! After switching to Via Care I ended up getting the nurse practitioner Rodriguez's and from the first day I came in I knew I was in good hands! The center reminds me of Kaiser where they have everything in one place but just smaller. Rodriguez actually listens to all of my concerns and helps me navigate through any problems I have. She's answered all the questions I have and help by running a bunch of tests to help figure out any issues I was having as well as helped adjust my diabetes medications all within 1 appointment where my last dr would of taken months to do that! I actually look forward to my appointments now and don't dread going. The medical assistant Maria and the Front Desk Ashley are also super friendly and very helpful whenever I come by. My only issue is that they are hard to get ahold of. When calling the office you get sent to a call center instead of the directly to the office so it's hard to get ahold of them sometimes. They do have an app where you can message the office but the dr would have to go into your folder to see the messages. But overall I've had a great experience here so far and will continue coming and recommend it to anyone else looking for a dr that actually cares and puts you first! Oh they also have a pharmacy here and the pharmacy team is super nice as well!

I appreciate how she and Nurse Stephanie thoroughly asked me questions regarding my health history as well as other concerns I have. Once I was done, I was given a schedule for multiple exams. All documents were accessible via the MyChart site, and the results for my CBC, Lipid Panel & other exams were readily available a day after I got my blood works. 2 Weeks later, I received a call from Dr. Dawn giving me the run-down on the results of my tests. I am happy with the service they provided, and I will recommend this clinic to my family & friends.
