Tom and his entire network of subs are SCAM ARTISTS. They do not know what they're doing, they are…read morelazy, wasteful, messy, and have no attention to detail. They started various parts of the job, but havent finished a single aspect. When they decided to walk off the site i was left with TWO unfinished bathrooms, unfinished stair treads & railing, unfinished flooring, molding and trim, scratched surfaces, scratched tub, STOLEN MATERIALS (faucets, lighting), cement/grout debris outside, a complete mess. As they tore apart my house they were discussing other "multimillion dollar" jobs (scams i am sure of). The subs he brought in were a variation of inexperienced, lazy, addicts and/or thieves (stole each others tools, and one allegedly was high on site and fell, one sub drove the others truck and crashed it. I was told they found needles in the car.) When Tom and Brandon (Fortress General Contracting) realized i was not going to continue to use them to finish, he refused to pay his subs (who were willing to try to correct/finish). They then walked off after trashing my bathroom and stealing material. Refused to entertain partial refund and i have to rip out the entire bathroom they butchered. COMPLETE CIRCUS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. (unless you want people that over charge, over promise, & under deliver)
