It's an emotional and difficult time for families, and a little compassion and patience can make all the difference. We weren't expecting anything extraordinary, just basic courtesy and understanding. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and it left us feeling even more discouraged during an already hard moment. We hope this is something that can be improved moving forward so other families are met with the care and respect they deserve.
