When I tried to get my records sent to my new dentist they told me they would email them that day. They never sent them and never bothered to tell me they weren't sent. When I called my new dentist they said they never received them. So I went in to see what was going on. They made me fill out paperwork and promised they would send it. They never did. They claim is because they're switching staff,but this also happened to my husband who tried to switch a year before I did. Im extremely disappointed in their customer service. First, there was a previous receptionist who would remind me every time I called of a no call no show I had already apologized and explained what happened for. Yet I was given attitude from this lady every time I would call when it happened many months prior and was (I thought) a past issue. That lady is since gone but I also dealt with many scheduling issues on the dentist office's part. I've had multiple appointments that had been scheduled out 6 months in advance be cancelled on me last minute. I request these times off work and the office seemingly had no regard for my time, cancelling and trying to reschedule too many times to remember. This recent cancellation of theirs resulted in them not reaching out to me to reschedule and then ignoring my messages asking when they'd be rescheduling. My teeth have been bothering me following a root canal at this facility and they never rescheduled my cleaning. It was scheduled 6 months ago so as to not have any scheduling issues, yet time and time again I'm being cancelled on last minute- literally the day before my appointment. At that point I can't tell my boss I'm free and I'm losing out on income. VERY disappointed and frustrated to have to switch dentists but my entire family is leaving for the same reason.

Especially if it's an emergency, Dr. Walton responds immediately even if it's his day off. The bills are rough because in my experience pretty much ALL insurance companies are horrible!! To avoid payment issues, always ask for the appointment or procedure to be ran through your insurance beforehand and most importantly call your insurance company yourself to see what is and isn't covered prior to your appointment. That responsibility shouldn't fall on any practice. You're responsible for obtaining all the information you need, ignorance is no excuse with Google at your fingertips. FYI: from what I've learned florid, additional needed x-rays, and a replacement tooth crown in or less than five years is not covered by insurance just to name a few. Anyway, my family is very pleased with the service.
