This place used to be good but it is steadily losing its quality of care. Lisa Guan is great, but we hardly ever see Dr Daniela. Their filing system is a mess. One time my daughter's basic data wouldn't even show up in their system. Last week I brought my daughter's school form for the doctor to sign, and I go to pick it up after a week, and they can't find it. They have misplaced the form even though I had explicitly asked them not to lose it when I dropped it off. What's worse, the exact same thing happened last year. It really boggles my mind how a doctor's office can be so bad at basic filing system. It seems they just don't care about patients, which is disappointing. Pls improve. read more

I love this practice. Dr. Daniela and the other practitioners have always been kind knowledgeable and respectful of my decisions. I have had a ton of questions with a newborn and Daniela has made herself available always. I am able to email her with questions and she promptly answers me the same day. I am so grateful for that. I am giving this practice four stars because it is not a pretty place - I feel like it can look more appealing and be cleaner. This review is for the office staff, and dr Daniela Atanassova-Lineva. The staff is rude, they make you feel unwelcome and messed up my son's appointment times multiple times. Dr Lineva may have a lot of practice, but she misdiagnosed my son's condition, saying he had an ear infection when in fact it wasn't true. We went to ER the next day and spent the night at the hospital because he was wheezing. She had the nerve to call and was rude, saying that she stood by her own diagnosis and I was wrong, because I was a new mom. Wait time is usually long, I heard people say they waited more than 1 hour for the doctor to see them. So did I several times. Overall, the office promotes beauty procedures more than it cares for kids, old toys, shabby books and so on. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

Doc Daniela is a really, really great doctor and pediatrician. She's great with our kids and she's always very good with me as a parent. She's always careful and attentive with the children and she's always very nice to me as a parent no matter how silly I feel about asking a question. Dr Lisa Guan is a very nice doctor. As well as the physician assistant both were very warm and accommodating and I would reccomend this office. Only problem I had is with the receptionist Paula who had a huge attitude problem when trying to have a conversation about medical history and out of state changes. Been going to this office since 2015 for my firstborn. Still going there now for my two boys. Initially went to Dr. Daniela but been going to Lisa Guan for quite awhile now. She's thorough, listens to all your concerns, thoughtful and very caring! Whenever we have and emergency for any of our boys, she is just a text message away. A personalized service that you can get nowhere else. I will definitely recommend. The front office is also very personable. The new receptionist was very lovely with us also The new young man who assisted with eye testing and weight I think his name is Randy. And lastly the new scribes in the office; Two lovely young ladies Lidys Melisa and Mary I believe was the second lady's name (sorry I can't remember exactly) but I want to say how sweet and attentive they both were. They create a very nice easy going vibe in the clinic. As usual we're very happy to visit this clinic and will continue to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Daniela. My son has been Dr Daniela's patient for 12 years. And we just had a newborn and my only choice is Dr.Daniela. When people write these negative reviews, why are they rating staff? Rate the Doctor. That's who your relationship is with! She's professional, super intelligent. She diagnosed my son with hernia when three specialists said he didn't have it. And guess what. He had a hernia and it was taken care of. My only choice for a pediatrician is Dr.Daniela. Unfortunately uneducated people will find anything negative because they are unhappy with themselves. I originally gave 2 stars, an extra for Dr. Daniela & Dr. Guan, Dr. Daniela was sweet and definitely knows what she's doing medically. But the office management, however, leaves a lot to be desired so two stars was still 1 too many. We came here three times, the first time our baby was 5 days old and the waiting room is incredibly tiny and they don't separate unimmunized infants and sick, contagious kids. I had to ask to wait in a different room and the receptionist was incredibly cold and even rolled her eyes at me. We saw Dr. Guan who was the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner even though we were expecting to see Dr. Daniela since ZocDoc said we would. Dr. Guan was friendly enough and great with our baby but a surprise since I had done more research on Dr. Daniela. The second time we saw Dr. Daniela, and as smart as she is, she seemed to rush the appointment and we noticed that even though there's appointments, it's pretty much walk-in, first come, first serve and wait time can be 40 minutes. The experience dealing with receptionists who intentionally won't pick up your call (when we called from a different number, they picked up right away) when you're calling for important information to fax over to neurologist for your 2 month old's MRI...it's just unacceptable. The reason we were calling is because Dr. Daniela never filled out the anesthetic release form we needed and the receptionist was giving us the run around and pretending their computers were down. We were willing to deal with a busy office and even short appointments because we know Dr. Daniela knows her stuff but the office is just incredibly mismanaged and unprofessional, we constantly get their answering service and no call back. It's not something I'm willing to go along with with my child's medical care. Now we have chosen a new pediatrician and I've made 6* calls to get her records faxed and the new office hasn't received anything. **I originally wrote this review 10/1/16, it's now months later and their phones STILL go straight to an answering service or just a machine. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! My daughter is now 3 and a half and is such a shame that she only NOW is Dr.Daniela Atanassova's patient. Her now ex pediatrician Dr.Mejia in Richmond Hill was terrible and had me in search for a new Doctor. The wait time at Dr.Daniela Atanassova's office is no more than 10min if you are on time to your appointment. The entire staff is loving and made my daughter smile and laugh the whole time. I recommend her! My daughter was diagnosed with Eczema and i was reassured that with proper care my daughter's skin wouldn't be affected. She didn't rush me out of her office and took her time. She answered every single question I had. Best part is, she gives you her cell phone number to text and call her at whatever time if you had any questions! read more

Dr. Daniela is both an amazing person and Doctor she takes care of every single patient and knows the name of everyone. She is extremely patient with young children and nervous parents as well as understanding with teens. My brother and I have been going to Daniela for almost 10 years . She knows exactly why to do and is gentle and careful. Her office is just beautiful I remember when she had her grand opening and the office is still as clean and new as the day she first opened it. I have also been very pleased with the care that Dr. Daniela has given my now 15 year old daughter. When we first started going to Dr. Daniela, my daughter was 12 years old and ready for a female pediatrician. Dr. D is attentive and open. She communicates directly with my teenager, in my presence, and solicits trust from her patient. Her staff is warm and friendly, if a little overworked, since it is a very busy office with some limited hours. Dr. Daniela talks straight, and teens especially appreciate that. Dr. Daniela have been our children's pediatrician since our first born in 2012. The office would always work with you from Kathy at the front desk to Michelle at the medical back room which takes your temperature, height, weight and the reason for your office visit. They are so attentive and my two kids are never scared to visit the doctor's office. They actually love to go there esp. when they are sick. Dr. Daniela is great with the kids and I am able to contact her for any medical matters (I usually text). NP Lisa Guan is great too. I am thankful for her for saving my son and was able to diagnose my son with intussusception while a doctor at PM Pediatrics wasn't able to. Their office hours do change sometimes but a majority of the time, we were able to make it for walk-ins. read more

My kids had been a patient here for almost 3 years I think a little more. Here the reasons to my negative review. Negative: hours are really inconvenient, dr daniela is only there Monday and Wednesday which suck and the rest of days is Lisa Guan the PNP. It was easier for my to see Dr Atanassova when I lived in Rego Park. But we moved to Long Island so it was only convenient for me to go during the weekends and is Lisa PNP was the one whom my kids will be with. What made me transfer to a local pediatrician was in February my kids were really sick. Lisa said it was only a fever virus. She didn't even do the test for the flu nothing just saw them check their ears n throat she said they don't got anything. To continue with the Advil and Tylenol for the fever. Well 3 more day my kids got worst had no choice but to take them to the ER. They got tested for the flu and turned out positive for the influenza B. Also my son had this horrible ear infection which it was there for days. The dr at the ER was very disappointed on how their own pediatrician did not detect this. I'm glad they got better with the antiobiotics but this could've been avoided if Lisa PNP did her job correctly. I'm also very disappointed on the front desk receptionist. I loved Kathy she was great and amazing with everyone and everything she had to do as a front desk but This new receptionist is very nasty! She doesn't look happy! It just makes you not want to be there. Sucks that this used to be my favorite Doctor. I hope they get a better team and get their act together. My kids could've got worst if I never went to the ER. I did change my pediatrician to a local one. Hopefully Dr Daniela considers to be at the office more hours. read more
