I have had Type 1 diabetes for 26 years and have Graves Disease with thyroidectomy and hypoparathyroidism. I wear a pump and a CGM. Needless to say, I have had lots of experience with endocrinologists and doctors in general and Dr. Rothman may very well be the best one I have ever worked with. She always remembers me and looks at her past notes before coming in to the room. She always asks, listens to, and values my opinions. She looks to help minimize insurance costs and unnecessary tests or appts and is always prompt to respond to emails through the secure health portal. My A1C has improved from 8+ to 6.5 while working with the clinic. She is positive and encouraging, even when my blood sugars are not as good as they should be. I actually look forward to visits with Dr. Rothman - it feels like visiting with an old friend (while sharing waay too much medical information :) ) In addition to seeing Dr. Rothman I also work with a diabetic educator.
