While waiting for our house to be built we lived with my wife's parents in Aurora. Since we no longer had a house I called to cancel our homeowner's insurance and Harvey talked me into a renters policy because he said all of our belongings would be covered no matter where they were in the world. We had 99% of our belongings in storage and the rest with us at my wife's parents house. After we closed on our house we went to move our belongings from storage to the house and discovered everything had been destroyed by water and subsequent mold. I filed a claim because there was a clause in the policy that stated if a structure was damaged by a storm (wind, hail etc) and water was then forced into the structure damaging property it would be covered. After numerous emails and phone calls, Harvey and Allstate refused to cover any part of our loss. Imagine being at your lowest point ever, everything you have ever owned destroyed and to basically have your insurance company spit in your face, my family and I were devastated. At the time we had a 2.5-year-old a 1.5-year-old and my wife was pregnant with our third, and we basically had nothing. This is the reason people hate insurance companies they should help you in your darkest hour and they did nothing. Harvey Goodwin and Allstate has some funny entertaining commercials but makes no mistake they are nothing short of criminals. Obviously, I changed insurance companies and I will never, (and am strongly encouraging you) do business with these conartists again.

If you would like an agent who is professional and someone you can get questions answered from without an attitude or simply someone who acts like they care about your insurance needs without charging you an arm and a leg... Move on.

I could not be more pleased with my decision to move to Kevin, he helped me understand my policies better and offers options for better coverage or cost savings, and when I recently was involved in a fender bender (hit from behind) out of state, he cut through the red tape and got things moving for me. As a side note, I have my homeowners and automobile insurance with Kevin. He also insures my daughter's new apt for the lowest price I have seen (and it's State Farm! The Best!)

Calvin worked hard to earn my business and whenever I need anything Lexi is always on top it. Even when I don't need anything, Nicole and Calvin reach out to me, sometimes just to thank me for my business.
