We have solid walnut cabinetry throughout our home. Some of it was faded by the sun. We hired someone to refinish them, but he did a horrible job and ruined the finish. Daniel came highly recommended, so we gave him a call. Daniel was very responsive. He came over and looked at the job. He was confident he could fix and refinish the cabinetry. And although his prices are high, he delivered on his promise. He did an excellent job! We were gone most of the summer, and we trusted Daniel enough to give him a key to our house so he could get the work done while we were gone. He kept us updated every day, providing photos and videos of his progress. When we got home, the job was finished and we couldn't have been more pleased. Daniel knows his craft and does it very well. I hired Daniel to refinish a piece of furniture, and the work was terrible! From afar it looks good, but upon closer inspection, he did not "make it look like new" as he claimed! The details are lacking, when he was called on it, he was very defensive, and claimed that he stood behind his work, but he didn't, he told me that if i wanted to get things fixed, I would have to pay, as if I didn't already pay him enough! He finally agreed to fixing some things, came out and his ideas of fixing things was so bad! I could've done it!!!! This man does not know how to stand behind his work, he is not very good at communications, and he is a "mickey mouser"! I DON'T recommend him at all! read more

Daniel has repaired and refinished several family heirlooms for me over the past year including a 150+ year old maple table that is absolutely gorgeous now. I found him to be very clear as to which projects I should bother investing in, and also found him extremely helpful when it came to picking out finishes and hardware in keeping with the period the pieces were originally designed. Daniel came to my house for an estimate to repair a piece of furniture in August 2015. Daniel told me he was already very busy and asked if I could wait until September to have my item repaired Since I was not in a real hurry, I said ok. From August - December 2015, he made several promises to come pick my item up and repair it, but never showed. His excuses were, that he forgot, was just so very busy, he had a death in the family, etc., etc. Bottom line is, If you was to be treated as if your repairs don't count and want to be blown off, go ahead and use this shop. I will take my business to someone who isn't so "VERY BUSY" and can actually do the work as they promised. read more
