Nate was very knowledgeable when it comes to welding. I'm very pleased with the work that he did for me.

Couldn't of found a better welding shop. The men working there were nice and knowledgeable, going…read moreas far as even telling me they couldn't do my frame in good conscience because it was truly beyond safe repair. I will always use Custom Welding.

I paid 3000 to have my frame repaired! Way more then I wanted to spend but expected it to be done…read morerite for that kind of money! Asked that a hitch be installed and frame undercoat for that price and mike kept saying i have to see your set up to know if i can install hitch. thought it was weired cause a hitch just installs to the two frame rails? But he ended up having us order one and drop off to the truck only to have josh tell us they cant because insurance after job started! I have a baby due in 2 months a 3 year old 10 year old and 12 year old I figured I'd get truck fixed for seating and to mile up for work instead of my 40,000 dollar van and him and Josh think the pictures are ok and safe for my children and wife and public! Im suing! If the courts rule against me then they can be liable for the safety of this truck to! Not with my kids or wife in it but for working it to pay for all Josh and Mike took me and my family for! They cut my cross member i ordered short didn't use one fish plate that came with kit or install the spare tire cross member that acts as structure! He says he installed all that came with kit but absolutely proveds he's a lies and a crook! With no concern for the safely of anyone on the road! Im ordering the same kit again to prove to the court. the two garages that would look at it of the three said he caused snuff work to pay for a whole new frame for the truck! First garage had a post lift so wouldn't even put on for fear of getting hurt! Pictures show truck went in way cleaner looking then getting back! I knew what bed was gonna look like with cab just by looking at frame when they were done! Im discussed with how they did me and my family! Hate that my pregnant wife has to be so upset and just can't believe they thought this was ok for 3000! They are trying to say bed came in shimed with wood but bolts i grinded are still in bed! And you can't possibly shim bed to fit cab way they left me to drive off with truck! Im suing for all I can get and hope they loose theyre rite to put the public at risk and to take so much from innocent hard working familys! Also they welded my gastank strap instead of using a bolt! Gave me a custom thin duct work strap for the other one! Service 4 wheel drive on now! Hoping they didn't tamper with anything to compromise my truck! Wanted to check fluids and go over truck before doing anything with it but they had it running Josh mike and one of theyre girls standing at the poped hood when we pulled up? the mouth on Josh when trying to go over what i expected and what i got was far from professional like the work. Far from what the website states! please trust me and don't do business with them! So discusted with the worst work I could have got for my 3000! If my truck would have looked like it does now I wouldn't have been able to drive it up there! They plated rite over the rot! They care more about ripping people off then anyone's safety on the road! Or anyone's babies that will be in any vehicle they are paid very good money to repair if you get lucky and can call it that! That's why the first garage wouldn't put on lift and second two said not safe for the road and taking it to more to make sure the judge has enuff proof other then the shit work pics before okaying it for the road! And the invoice was made while I was at court house and not by discussion through text! Hope you have proof from your ring cam OR any cam it drove in looking like it did driving out! Because it didnt! And your absolutely a crook lying pos! I have so much proof! You should be ashamed! You and josh both! The bolts are still in bed lol! Couldn't possibly been shimed! And definitely can't be now!

I recently came to Cleveland Blacksmithing, LLC with my dad for our birthdays. We had an amazing…read moretime and learned a lot about blacksmithing! I would recommend this to anyone who has a few free hours and a learn to learn something new. We took a Beginner's Blacksmithing class that was 3 hours long. Basically, you are paying for the anvil. If it was just one of us, we would pay like $90, but since there was two of us sharing an anvil, we paid like $140. The shop is a good size, with a ton of great metal art and tools on the walls. There are 4 anvils that people can use in the shop, so you need to book your class like a month of two in advance because they fill up quick. The instructor was the guy who ran the shop, and he was really funny, nice, and experienced. He was informative and utilized a hand-on approach to education, which I appreciated. He would demo a technique working the metal for us, let us spend a lot of time figuring out ourselves, and was around to answer any questions and help with our form. He also had an apprentice helping him teach the class, so there were two fairly experienced guys walking around and helping us with form and technique. They were both really passionate and explained stuff in an appropriate way. Some of the techniques we learned were making metal into a point and "scrolling", or making a cute little curly q. After we learned a couple techniques, he kind of set us loose to make whatever we wanted, with a few examples. For example, you can make some hooks, a bottle opener, a coaster, a little art piece - whatever you can make in the time allotted at the end, you can take home! We made a bunch of hooks with holes to later hang up on the wall and I also made a cute little abstract art piece with a lot of curly q's scrolled pieces. Another woman there made a little art piece that had her initials! All in all, it was a BLAST and now I have some sweet desk art as well as an awesome set of hooks that I made into a place to hang my keys. Plus, every time I look at them I have an awesome memory of learning blacksmithing with my dad. The parking situation is a little weird and the shop is kind of down an alleyway, but there's a small lot with designated parking for the shop. You can also probably park on a nearby street and walk over, but the lot is really close to the shop. It can get a little toasty while blacksmithing, so I would recommend wearing a couple layers so you can start warm and take them off as you need. There's also a shop within with t-shirts and beautiful art pieces made by artisans within the shop. They had necklaces and little skulls, kitchen utensils, and a bunch of other stuff. The shop is run by a husband-wife duo. I absolutely loved my time here and had a great experience. It was worth the money. Check on their website for additional classes they offer - I think they do a 3 week immersive workshop, and also a full day workshop. I think you can also come use the anvil and tools if you already know how to blacksmith, but check the website for details. Support local business and artists and become an artist yourself!!!
