It's not particularly private though, as they have 3/4 walls in between the adjustment tables, and it feels a tad dated. The doctor, himself is good. She is amazing and truly helped me during a very difficult and painful time in my life. I was in a car wreck that really caused a great deal of pain and issues for me. Unfortunately I am having pain in the same areas years later and I called the office today on 8/27/2021 to request my previous X-rays so my new chiropractor can review them just for a better history/baseline. I am the type of patient that thinks the more data the better, also my current chiropractor is requesting these images. I spoke to Gaby regarding this and she was unfortunately extremely unfriendly and unhelpful regarding this, she actually hung up on me today and I am in shock at how rude she handled the situation. She told me my images were (most likely) lost in the Houston freeze/storm from earlier this year. She said she would try looking for them but she's sure they are gone but the tone she used was very rude. I understand it may be annoying that I am calling asking for my images, but this treatment is unacceptable. I don't think Gaby will be calling me back or will even try looking for my X-rays at all to be honest just based on her demeanor with me over the phone. The energy from her was very unprofessional today and rude unfortunately. I have nothing but amazing things to say regarding Dr. Deloache and Dr. Thorton plus the remainder of the staff aside from the office manager. The doctors are both wonderful, communicative, compassionate doctors and both so helpful. I miss them both and if I lived in Houston I would still see them. Gaby, this review is for you. Shoveling snow, stacking fire wood and general chores made adjustments a necessary routine for me at a young age. I moved to Houston in 2011 and finding a chiropractor was a top priority. I had been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease that affected my joints along with fibromyalgia right after I moved, making the need to find someone good even more urgent. I lucked out and found Dr. Samuel Hunt on the first try. He was working at Brando Chiropractic off Memorial at the time and used the differentiated technique, which was new to me. Dr. Hunt is 6'10" and a former basketball player. I'm not a petite girl at 5'8" and it helps to know that someone will physically be able to manage the adjustment. His background in athletics was encouraging, as many chiropractors I had seen in the past told me to back off of P90X and Crossfit in exchange for less "jarring" movements. It was refreshing to find a doctor willing to work with me to find solutions that suit my lifestyle best. I saw Dr. Hunt twice a month for the three years I lived in Houston and my health can be greatly attributed to his care. He was very thorough and I had x-rays run to see what we were dealing with and follow up x-rays every year to track progress, which there definitely was. If I was in rough shape, he was more than willing to make house calls. I had to take him up on that a few times. He even came to our hotel room the day before our move to adjust my husband and I since we didn't have time during the week to make it in. Dr. Hunt was a strong influence in my decision to try a gluten-free diet and was a great supporter when I decided that taking the next step to follow a Paleo diet may be the right choice. He was always coming to me with articles he had read regarding my diet and my condition. He has a very holistic approach and I found myself relying on him when my traditional doctors weren't offering any relief to my many auto-immune related issues. Dr. Hunt is thorough, compassionate and always looking for solutions. My sister and many former co-workers now see him on a regular basis based on my positive experience with him. I still get text messages from him checking in on my health and my husband and I will definitely be continuing care with him when we return to Houston. I highly recommend him.

At first, I assumed it was just a one-time scheduling issue, but it has happened repeatedly. What's more concerning is the noticeable difference in how certain patients are greeted and attended to. Some individuals seem to receive a much warmer welcome and quicker service, while others are left waiting without any clear explanation. As a patient, that raises concerns about fairness and professionalism. It's also been extremely inconvenient to spend time and gas getting to my appointment, only to end up waiting 30 minutes or more and sometimes having to leave without being seen. That's not acceptable for anyone with a scheduled appointment. Additionally, I've had concerns about the quality of care--there have been instances where I was not properly set up on the machines, which makes me question whether I'm even receiving the correct treatment. I understand that clinics can get busy and that different therapists may have different schedules, but when this pattern continues without transparency, it becomes frustrating and concerning. I hope management takes the time to review scheduling practices, staff interactions, and patient care standards. Every patient deserves equal treatment, proper care, clear communication, and respect.
