Then they point you to corporate and shrug their collective shoulders, tell you they are sorry to hear about your troubles, and raise your rates. Meanwhile the corporate office is nickel and diming every step of the repair to pay the least amount possible. I think autobody shops get a bad rap as they get the brunt of people's frustrations because it's the first time you can really look a person in the eye and have a margin of control during this whole ordeal.
