I called ahead to see if they were still open and the owners and John and his wife Angela kept the shop open past close to help me fix it when they heard I was active duty. They even upgraded to piece that broke to something thicker to prevent it from breaking. When I tried to pay John just said "don't worry about it, pass it on" that will go down as one of the coolest interactions I've ever had with a small business. I said that after making several calls and emails, they said if I don't accept the transfer due to damaged items the FFL would make the return. They told Bud's gunshop that I just didn't want to pay the $40 transfer fee. Bud's gave me a partial refund took fee's out of my return and listed the reason for returning the item as me not wanting to pay transfer fee. There are plenty of other places to go for a pawnshop gun dealership, or FFL to transfer online purchases to. And they charge less, with better selection
