They aren't just any kind of boarding place that just wants to take your money, they actually care for your dog and play with your dog! This place is a little bit off the beaten path and a little out of the way, but for our dog to enjoy going there and to be happy when she comes home speaks volumes and I would drive farther if I had to.... The last time we had her there they ended up giving her a bath because she got all muddy and they didn't want her to smell and look dirty on her way home no charge. Thumbs up and happy camper here!

I was so impressed with Jamie--she did a beautiful cut. She was also attentive to his ears, for which I am grateful--they had not been plucked well at my just-before-moving appointment and she took care of it with an extra walk-in quicky. When I got off work at 7 pm I went to pick him up. When I arrived at about 7:15, I got to the door and a man answered, and told me they would need "20 or 30 more minutes, probably more". I left, came back at 8pm. When I was greeted at the door, the first thing the woman said was "so I'm not finished yet" and I followed her as she went to get my dog. She hands him to me, the ONLY thing that had been done to him was his back was SHAVED. He hadn't had a bath, nails trimmed, teeth brushed, a hair cut, nothing. Literally the only difference was that his back had no hair. When she handed him to me she says "I think something is wrong with my clippers, but I've tried all of them so I don't think it's the clippers". I truly don't know what took 6 hours, but I do not recommend. On top of everything, Benji's collar/tag was left there, and I have tried to contact Sara 3/4 times and I have been blatantly ignored every message I have sent. It even says that she has read each message and she just hasn't responded refusing to give me the collar back.

Today I am very disappointed in Dr. Gatlin. First she has been our vet for our Boston Terriers off…read moreand on over 14 years. We went through a period when we didn't have any pets. Seven months ago we acquired a new female Boston Terrier who accidentally got pregnant. I took her to Dr. Gatlin because I trusted her and my little girl was throwing up for what I thought was no apparent reason. Dr. Gatlin scared me to death and almost caused me to have a panic attack. She told me she wasn't pregnant but had an infection and needed to be spayed immediately. I asked for an ultrasound which showed she was in fact pregnant. There was no apology for scaring me. Then she prescribed a drug for the vomiting that was made for humans. She said it was ok for my dog but she didn't know if it would harm the puppies. I paid the $35.00 for the drug. When I got home I promptly flushed them. Then a few hours later I learned all my dog needed was a $1.50 bottle of Peptobismol which was safe for my dog and her babies. Additionally that it was normal behavior to throw up prior to delivery. You would think a vet would know that. Two days later Dr. Gatlin finally decided to check on her patient. TWO DAYS LATER! Out of curiosity I asked if my dog went into labor in the middle of the night and had problems would she be available? She told me to take her to vet open 24 hours. Never mind that the vet is at least 30 minutes from where I live. In thirty minutes time it's likely mom and babies would all be dead. Dr. Gatlin I used to think you were an incredible vet that I could trust with the lives of my fur babies. NOW I think you're burnt out and should retire. I am so incredibly disappointed.

Super disappointed. Went there 3 weeks ago for a yeast infection in my dogs ear. That visit was…read more$262. I had to schedule a follow up visit that was just supposed to be ear follow up and 2 vaccines that my dog was due. First of all they have 3 receptionists and it took a ridiculous amount of time to check in. Then the receptionist brought in a piece of paper with literally 10 things on it and gave me an "estimate" of well over $500! I was like my dog was here 3 weeks ago and this should just be his vaccines and a follow up. After narrowing it down the cost would be $250. Ok fine. I did decide to add a fecal test after the fact when I looked at my digs records and saw he was due one. Get to the register after the visit and they start going thru everything I was being charged for. One of those things was the flu vaccine (which by the way is sneakily called CIV and was not explained to me prior to consent). I did NOT want my dog to have that vaccine and of course it was $50. My total was $380! For a follow up on his ear and his yearly vaccines. This place seems to be going in an unethical direction and I'm so very disappointed. The vets are great but this is shady.
