Product was not as advertised. I paid for a maternity and newborn photo session ($500), and was told I would have a make-up artist and multiple photos. However, there was no make-up artist provided, she herself was the artist, and did not ask what I wanted for the look or offer me any sort of idea of what my make up would look like. As far as I know, she is not a certified make up artist. She even brushed out my hair that I had styled the day before WITHOUT asking or warning. Still, I was hoping the photos would turn out okay, but in order to even receive 6 digital files from the photo session already paid for in advance, I would need to provide an additional $800. I was not provided any proofs or digital files, nor was this detail included in the contract. Dara sent a separate link with prices to her digital files and sent only once with no follow up. It's funny how you dare defend yourself with so many lies... you call me a bully when I feel bullied by you. You have my pictures hostage. You didn't say you were going to withhold the pictures and ask for more money. Very misleading. If I stopped the process with my lawyer was because I don't want to spend more money on you any more... I really do hope you take conscience of what you are doing... because that is a way of misleading people, playing with feelings, keeping hostage pictures of sessions that we payed for. Nope nope and more nope! We booked a Christmas session. Paid the booking fee and everyone got the flu. She refused to budge even a little bit on working anything out. Not another session or even putting any monies towards another session. I wish I had read her reviews before working with her. As a business owner myself, in the arts, There are circumstances that require compassion and she apparently has none. Stay far away! read more

Not a good experience. She is not kind at all, she couldn't even pretend to be kind. Overpriced and very fake retouching. I prefer my iPhone photos a lot. I should have read the reviews before making an appointment. When I went to pick up the pics she didn't even invite me inside, she opened the door narrow and gave me the pics in rush. I forgot my sandals there and asked her I'll get my sandals when I pick up the photos, but since she rushed me I forgot to take my sandals again and had to drive back and wasting of time. I don't recommend Dara to anyone at anytime and won't use the pics. I rarely write a review but I feel like I am responsible to tell my experience here so others don't have same experience. Based on some reviews we pretty much experienced the same thing . She was very rude after the session . We didn't really understand that we have to pay a package to get the pictures. And also she said that 50$ from the 250$ session fee will go towards the package you choose and unfortunately she didn't respect her words and I have proof on my receipt. She should be more transparent by posting her prices on the website instead of telling by phone or physically . She needs a Assistant as well read more

Awful experience, I felt scammed, she charges for the session AND to give you the pictures, she doesn't give you all of the pictures taken in the sessions, only the ones you can pay... $100 per picture is the cost of her "packages" I ended up paying 1400 for 14 pictures. Also she Was reckless and almost abusive with my daughter. At 1 point my mother had to take her from this lady's arms because of the way she was handling and treating my daughter. At the end of it we discovered that throughout the photo session Dara while changing or her costume caused a scratch on my daughter who was only 2 weeks old This lady is a bonafide hack. She has no skills or talent my brother did a much better job with his iPhone Terrible human being!!! read more

Not a fan. Felt rushed...photos were unprofessional not even the editing provided was able to correct the imperfections in the photos. At her price point we expected more direction when taking photos and definitely a little more attention to detail. I had high expectations however after my experience I do not recommend :-( read more

Horrible horrible lady I went to her for my maternity photoshoot never got any she dosen't explain to you that after the $250 to take the photos you then have to purchase her over priced picture frames and also she dosen't give digital copies she wanted me to spend thousands with her after I'm done and you could tell she knew her scam because her awful behavior began right after the photoshoot what should have been a simple photoshoot turned to a nightmare and I ended up with no photos meanwhile she is using my photos without my consent for flyers and promotion on her page total SCAM my husband and I feels so violated by this woman. Yes, my husband and I run a business. We are self employed! Which means if I decide to take a year off to stay home with my child I don't get paid for it. I don't have some cushy job that gives me maternity leave nor do I mooch off the government to pay the bills. I put myself on a fixed income to be home with my child. It's called planning ahead. The sacrifice we decided to make as a family is our choice. Are you saying that if someone has money they could afford to be ripped off? We won't even mention the fact that just because you took a Photography course at the local community college does not make you a photographer. If I wasn't too busy running my successful business and catering to my happy clients I would report you to any agency that would listen. No star! Unprofessional and rude. Does not value the customers. She charges for photo session and does not tell you that it's a PHOTOSHOOT ONLY and does not provide the digital copies for you unless you purchase one of the packages. Provides photos to use for facebook timeline and profile photos but watermark is visible in center rather than to a predetermined location. She does not tell you that you do not get any photos. She over edits photos with photo filters that are poorly put in. Customer service is terrible, we encountered an issue with a package that was supposed to be shipped to us and my wife and I were the ones who had to deal with all the stress, hassle and inconvenience of tracking even after USPS said the shipper/merchant should have contacted first to assure product to be delivered. After asking Dara Bling Photography about the product, they responded with "check the post office, track your package." Paying a high amount, you'd expect the photographer would be pro-active with the product and with the customers. Only when filing disputes and complaints with no product delivery or anything dealing with money is when the photographer decided to step in to ask us the questions about why we filed a dispute and told us to "check the post office and track the package" again rather than them checking it out for themselves. No attention to detail as well, was told by photographer they would remove a hand in a photo, but instead crops it out and still visible. Told the photographer and they did it in a few minutes (poorly) and sent it back. Photographer did not send any of the holiday photos unless we asked for it. When paying via paypal, they requested to provide our shipping address for the album, after a few days after the payment, photographer still asks us what address we want to send it to. Would not recommend or deal with them again. The husband and wife argue with each other in front of customers during photoshoot. Very impatient with kids and acts like they are doing us a favor. When meeting up to select photos, they put you near other clients and rushes you to select photos to make you select immediately. ----- In regards to Dara's reply Dara's response is a joke. Look at he 2nd review before you make the wrong decision we did. The reason we were a repeat customer is because the other photographer we really wanted to work with was not in town to do our photoshoot and Dara was the very very last resort which we regretted very much after. read more
