Mattress quite comfortable (not too firm, not too soft). The curtains are the light-blocking type, so it was very dark in the room throughout sunrise, and allowed for a comfortable sleep. The affordable room came with kitchenette with microwave, toaster, and dishes/silverware. There's a liquor/wine/beer store within a few blocks, and so is the entire city center and river walk. ...and there's a rubber ducky in the bathroom; nice touch. So pleased. The hot water situation got a bit iffy around 0930, when seemingly everybody else in the hotel was taking a shower, and the hot water ran luke warm after about 5 minutes. Perhaps they have their hot water set on low because it's still in the off season? My travel companion from the bathroom: "Are you Yelping them? Good! I really like this joint!" Tip: If you're looking to actively use the wifi, ask for a room that gets the best reception.
