They also have a wide range of accessories ranging from complete viv setups, to smaller tanks, and heating and lighting setups, hides, vitamin suplements etc. You'll also find plenty of live and frozen food available, as well as a holiday sitting service for your pet whilst you are away. They do healthcare/toiletries/food/bedding and accessories for cats/dogs/hamsters/gerbils/rabbits and fish and any other pet you can think of. They also sell pets there, which are kept in appropriate cages,tanks, etc for you to view before you buy. The prices arent as cheap as supermarkets or bargain shops but the quality is the best and you get what you pay for. The staff are very friendly and polite and are always on hand to offer advice to you. The store is very clean and tidy and kept well stocked at all times.

They stock a large selection of cat, dog and small animal pet food as well as accessories such as collars, leads, cages, tanks and treats. If you are a herpologist (ie: you prefer your pets more slithery) then you are out of luck, but for most people they should be able to find what they are looking for at their local pets at home. The animals look quite well looked after, although some of the water bottles the rabbits were using were green with algea, but otherwise they were well kept.

The best aspect of the store is their resident old parrot or cockatiel whatever it is - it has been there forever and has its own cage in the shop from which it is allowed to roam freely - watch out above cos he does like to drop the odd message onto you. He is also very verbal and looks quite shabby but that is to be expected from such an old bird. The store is on a corner of bradford on the very buys junction but it is easy to get to. There is no disabled access and the store is rather small to manouvre in. The staff are quite polite but can be a bit tetchy - i suppose it goes by how much they have sold that day. It is a traditional pet shop, although it might not stock as wide a range as other larger stores, it makes up for it by the friendly staff who are only too happy to give you advice and help should you need it. Look out for Squawky who is a large fancy parrot but mostly bald as he pulled all his feathers out from stress with his previous owners - he has the run of the shop and is very talkative! The last time we saw him he was trying to get in with the puppies! A nice, traditional pet store.

I have not even received an email telling me when to expect it. Note on their website they post 5 great reviews from satisfied customers. So congratulations to them for getting that many since 2003. Assuming they are genuine comments and not more lies from their staff. My advice is look around at other companies. The kennel I bought from them was ￡216. I have since found exactly same kennel (even same photo) for ￡159. This Company and employees are LIARS.
