They are extremely rude and intolerant towards foreigners. They don't speak English, and despite me saying that I don't speak German, they kept responding in a rude manner in German. They don't accept card payments and didn't even provide a receipt, which raises some questions. We went as two mothers with two young children (1 and 3 years old). The kids made a bit of a mess on the table, but we cleaned it up. However, we couldn't perfectly clean the spilled liquids on the floor since we didn't have a mop with us. Despite apologizing for this, we were scolded harshly. They showed no understanding, even though we had small children with us. I will never go back there again, not even pass by. Best bakery in the Stuttgart-Möhringen area. Their breads, pastries and cakes are always fresh. We are big fans of the Laugen Brochen, Mohnschencke and Nußschencke. Occasionally they change up the Laugen Brochen which aren't as good as their normal batch. The coffee is Hochlande which is a nice coffee blend. You can also get a very nice breakfast/brunch here. read more

There are actually two a few blocks away from each other, but this one is on the corner and across from the Rewe grocery store versus the other by the Möhringen Bahnhof. It's not a great location to sit outside since it's on a busy street, but the inside is pleasant. I really like the apple pie with champagne added to it and the coffee was good. As for the service, there is one counter person that I like since she was willing to help me cut a pie into smaller pieces. I was a little annoyed they don't offer any deals when you buy a whole pie, but that's every bakery I've found so far. Not sure if it would make a difference if I spoke in German. read more

Great little bakery/cafe in Möhringen! Hours are good, and it is particularly nice that they are open on Sunday mornings, unlike pretty much anywhere else in Germany. On weekend mornings they have a nice little Frühstück spread. It is continental style so you won't find things like waffles and pancakes, but they have a good variety of meats, cheeses, breads, fruits, pastries, etc. The rest of the time they use that counter space for pastries and cakes to supplement the full-time pastry counter area. The selection of breads is a little more limited than other bakeries, but what they do have is good, and their selection of pastries and sweet breads is better than most. read more
