This company stole my money. In Toronto, you pay your first and last month rent up front. On the last month, they notified me that rent will still be pulled "accidentally" as they didn't cancel it in time, but not to worry, they will send a check out right away. Well, on the date they stated it would be deposited, it wasn't deposited. I waited a few days in good faith then called in. No answer. They wouldn't answer my calls. I had to call with a 3rd party number they didn't know, Mark answered. I said hi, its me ______. What happened? He said oh sorry, it will actually go next week. Well, it was never deposited. They don't answer my calls, or my emails. They just stole a months rent. I have filed with RT and other agencies and I will be suing in small claims court Ontario to get my money back. Perhaps this is an unfair review as I haven't had any direct dealings with DASH, but I was calling around on behalf of a foreign client who needs a property manager for a condo that she's closing on. (Due to the not-so-great online reviews, DASH wasn't on my initial list of places to call, BUT I called them anyway after a property manager friend from Vancouver suggested them. She hasn't been in the GTA for a few years, soo...I still called myself to chat with someone.) After following some prompts on their phone line, I found out that I couldn't even leave a voicemail!!! It said that their voicemail service was not "initiated". Ok, being a service and time-sensitive industry at that, it's really a poor sign if a potential client is unable to reach anyone! So hence my poor review. If I had left a voicemail and someone had called me back, there wouldn't be a need for this review. However, seeing how I was unable to speak to a live agent of the company, left a super bad impression of the company. Avoid booking with this company at all costs!!! After leaving positive reviews and receiving positive reviews, accused of damages to property more than 72 hours after checkout that were completely false. These people are scammers. read more

Terrible management company. We were tossed between many property managers. One individual worker Mark Lefor was stubborn, ignorant and was the least helpful person I've ever encountered. 10/10 would not recommend properties under this management. The unit is poorly kept from before we moved in. I'm not even sure the unit owner is aware of the condition of their unit but if I were the owner, I would hold myself to higher standards. Toilet was cracked since before we moved in, black mould in washroom. The floor is peeling up throughout, causing our feet and socks to get caught on them. The neighbour above had a leak so when the repair company they sent came they did the most horrible job ever at repairing the ceiling, made a massive dust mess and got the popcorn ceiling all over light and window fixtures. They said they would need to return to redo their work in which we declined due to the amount of mess they left behind for us to clean over all of our furniture and personal items. I hired Dash to manage the rental on a condo I owned down in the downtown core/waterfront area of Toronto for a few years while I live in the US. I can honestly say, they did an amazing job. Not only were they right on top with keeping my finances in order, but they were fast and efficient with any questions, concerns and paperwork I required for tax and sale purposes. I enjoyed working with both my manager and the administrative staff. Would definitely recommend Dash if you're looking for a management company to either help in the renting of your property, or if you're looking to find a condo for renting within the city. read more

This could not be a worse organization to rent from. Could not have been more disrespectful and vindictive. Please read these experiences before considering renting from a property managed by this company: 1) At the beginning, the company refused to pay for a cleaning service when we moved in. Unit was left in poor condition (blinds falling and scuffs everywhere, holes in the walls). When we left the unit in the very same condition, they claimed damages due to negligence and asked my roommate and I to $2,500 in repairs which we refused. Then they sent their lawyers on us. 2) We had a flood in our apartment in the first month leaving our place unliveable. My roommate and I were forced to live at our parents for a week, and when we did move back in the floor was damaged and barely liveable. This whole thing lasted about a month. When we requested some compensation for the time that we couldn't live there, they refused and instead offered us a $50 gift certificate to Rabba's. You're an organization, and you offer $50? A little offensive. 3) Attempted multiple times to evict us from the unit, sending us eviction notices for unreasonable claims. When we tried to communicate with them regarding said claims, they elected to continue to try to evict us. 4) Asked them to fix a cupboard that fell off its hinge in our place. They said they would and came to fix it. Afterwords, it turns out they used this as a chance to do a "mid lease inspection," and claimed that the cupboards and other pre existing issues were a result of damages, and demanded we pay. I repeat, they claimed we negligently, pulled a crappily made cupboard off its hinges, and demanded we clean our balcony too of all things. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are dishonest, rude, and honestly just a hassle to deal with. Take your business elsewhere, just ain't worth it. read more

I wanted to highlight an email received from them and I quote "no worries, Fa. We will take care of everything, that's why you have us." DASH does take care of everything and they do care about their clients. As a remote investor now I can be worry free and start to enjoy the return from my investment. The technology DASH provides is also mind-blowing. Monthly statement is available for clients and it is very easy for me to track rental income, expenses, and etc. The only thing I need to do is to log on, and everything is there for me. I wouldn't recommend this company. Funny I saw another low review here just a few weeks ago and now its gone?? Other than dealing with Edik in finance/operations , all stages of dealing with this company was a nightmare. I was stuck in a contract with them for a year, otherwise I would have gotten out quicker. My tenants also had a hard time dealing with this company. Lots of fine print that I was too much in a hurry to check...so I must blame myself for not being more careful. This was my experience with this company. read more

"F" for the most greedy board, annoying property management at emerald city one, cheap materials, downright wrong policies.... Most people think that residents always complain but let me explain what's wrong about this building. (i) property management charges a non-refundable $100 as security guard fees to inspect the elevator during move-in, on top of the $500 security deposit fees and elevator is only for 1.5 hours - what a money minting racket, (ii) if you need to get a delivery in the building, you have to pay $20 security guard fees , (iii) there is an area for children to play but they should be above 3 yrs of age and the toys in this area are for 2 yr olds, (iv) elevators are almost always broken, (v) floods are routine on the ground and lower floors, (vi) if you get a large box as a shipment, they won't accept it, (vii) if you don't pickup your package in 48 hrs, they will return it, (viii) they find any and every reason to fine you, (ix) party rooms are very difficult to get and again there are unreasonable security guard fees, (x) And here is the deal breaker - bylaw 13 - if you have 1 bedroom and there are more than 2 persons in your unit - pay an extra $75/month. If you argue that a den can house kids, you're told to consult a lawyer. The building also looses a lot of heat in the winter as its made of glass. The pool water is not heated, the jacuzzi is broken or they will close it during the most convenient hours for you, i.e. the weekend. Stay away from these f**ktards - there is anyway so much stress in life, you don't want to deal with them. read more
