Recently received a very fair quote to remove a very large water oak from our backyard. Told Mr Batie he could have the job with the following stipulations: A) All of the tree must be removed from our property without use of mechanical equipment in order not to damage our lawn or driveway. The exception to that was using a small tractor on our concrete driveway. B) Care would be taken not to damage any of our flowering bushes around and at the base of the tree. In spite of on and off rain the tree was completely removed from our property and transported off site in one day as promised. Our lawn and driveway were raked and blown clean and a couple of depressions in the grass were filled in with soil. Dathan Batie and his crew were prompt, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dathan responded immediately to my call, gave me an estimate the same day, and took care of our massive and scary dead pine tree super fast. Very friendly and honest. I've had major work done on my home. Scott and his crew were super professional and helped me from planning my ideal yard to researching ideas on his own. Afterwards, a very reasonable quote was given and the job was professionally done. Trees were shaped and trimmed and removed as necessary. All debri was cleared down to the sod being replaced! I would highly recommend them whether a tree needs to be trimmed or removed or a yard/landscapping needs to be planned and implemented. Scott come out to my home, walked my property with me and help one up with a plan to remove all the dead trees I have. He was very helpful in prioritizing the work and was extremely affordable. I had estimates from two other companies and this way cheaper and very quality work. Scott and his crew arrived at my house the following day and had the large job complete the same day. Excellent work, great price ($1400 cheaper than one of the other bids), went above and beyond the work outlined in the bid with no increased cost. Very quick turn around time (2 days). No damage to the house or surrounding structures. Cleaned up the site extremely well. Crew kept the road passable at all times and were very polite. I highly recommend Dathan Batie and his crew for tree removal. I had a tree split at the bottom, leaning and being held up by only branches of another tree. This was a very dangerous position as the tree was leaning towards my neighbor's backyard and shed. The guys who cleared a very difficult tree at the entrance of our neighborhood did a very good job. There was a fence close to the tree and they removed the tree with no damage to the fence or the surrounding foliage, cleaned up the debris completely and stayed in touch with me the entire time as the process took some time as they were working two crews on two jobs.
